Question: Did the snake poop on the socks? Is that even a thing?

Grateful for the smell of fresh baked bread in our home this morning.
Grateful to be away from the football stadium for a few days.
Grateful to come home to some take-out gumbo and red beans & rice.

Hmmm . . . . that is a good question Astro. I actually hadn't noticed snake poop until yesterday when I was giving more attention than normal to the snake habitat. I looks amazingly like normal poop.

Hey ho and another day in the bag

I'm grateful for
- my nephew picking me up after he got out of school
-taking a very mellow golden retriever to visit my Dad
- getting a chunk of Adult tasks done: driver's license renewed, appointment to get my van fixed
- chickens
- a couple of phone calls with freinds

Not an off the chart great day but still good.

Grateful for enough in the fridge to scrounge up for a lunch bag.
Grateful to drop some weight again.
Grateful for determination and commitment, I wanted to throw my hands up and walk away from a poorly planned job but I'll get back today to complete it.
Grateful for some solid sleep, I'm exhausted again and the weekend ahead is going to be grueling, but I do get a break after that.

Good morning Practitioners of Gratitude. Again I neglected to post last night so here goes.

Yesterday I was grateful for
- the cat not escaping when I left the door open
- getting the printer to work with the help of an adaptor
- contact with friends and family even if it was brief.
-the dog waking me up with a pair of my socks - hmm . . . I suppose dogs like socks and shoes as they are a good size to carry

May you all be looking for good stuff today.

Good evening good people

Tonight I'm grateful for
- getting back to my centering prayer zoom
-a plant that perked up after I watered it
- a good long visit with my Dad
- the golden retriever I get to haul around with me

One of the chickens is just not very good at being a chicken so all the others pick on her. I'm not sure what it is but she is a bit off. Consequently I often pick her up as we, chickens and me, journey across the driveway from coop to pen and back morning and evening. Walking around carrying a chicken is a look I would happily pursue AKA chicken as an accessory.

So BKA, does the chicken get carried like a handbag or a football? I used to carry my kids like footballs when they were infants.

Grateful to wrap up my side job and email off the invoice, the owner was thrilled with the work.
Grateful it will be a peaceful day at the office.
Grateful I get to work at a small venue tonight and will hear Luke Combs perform.
Grateful that I got rid of some bulk trash that had piled up on the side of the house for years.

I carry the chicken like a football. Man I loved carrying my little nieces and nephews around. When they got bigger I just piggy-backed them.

BKA I love when a plant perks up after watering it! Grateful that you are helpful to the chicken.

Grateful to be sober…..too early to go to bed, though I can’t stay awake much longer

Good evening all

I'm grateful for
- getting to haul a golden retriever with me everywhere
- a productive meeting about a charity fund
- my siblings who share the burden of figuring out Dad's financial situation
- another good visit with Dad

Tonight all the chickens once let out of the pen headed for the coop just as they should. The "off" chicken just kind of wandered in circles in the driveway and I had to pick her up and put her in the coop. She does seem like a bit of a confused soul.

Peace to you all.

I love hearing about the chicken BKA, I hope she's OK. Maybe she's just loving life and dancing in circles?

Grateful for a fun concert crowd last night, and to hear a little bit of Luke Combs performance.
Grateful I managed to get a good parking spot when I arrived at work, and the trip home afterwards was quick and easy.
Grateful to be home today before a loooong overnight shift, I hope to take some quick naps.
Grateful we have a Misfit delivery coming today, I'm craving veggies.
