Thank you God for the good people that volunteer their time on SR to help others on their recovery journey.

Thank you God for answering my prayer to help me find sobriety. Thank you for my family, friends and SR. You are a powerful, kind and caring God. Thank you for walking beside me God.

Thank you God for the home I wake up in every morning, one that's filled with love, laughter, and more blessings than I deserve.

Thank you God for this blessed day of rest and relaxation, or at least as much as I can muster up.

Thank you God for a perfect Labor Day, yes I labored quite a bit doing yardwork but it was nice to have some time to swim, cook, and engage in some hobbies.

Thank you God for the dental surgeon who used his skills on my wife, and for her rest and recovery.

When I wake early in the morning thank you God for the reminder that this is the time to pray, not to stress or worry about the day ahead.

Thank you God for the occasional ability to "accept the things I cannot change".

Thank you God for a short road trip and travel mercies to share a birthday meal with treasured friends.

Long work days and short nights of sleep, thank you Lord for your watch over me.

Thank you God for our puppy's veterinarian, doing the check-up today and keeping our little Bear healthy.

Thank you God for glimpses of my past to remind me that I can never drink safely again.

Thank you God for leading me to a Sober Life. Thank you for answering my prayers to help me get sober. Thank you for this beautiful day made in haven, a roof over my head, food on the table, my family.

These are the best words for today, to remember that I should never take these basic necessities for granted. Thank you for this reminder.

Thank you God for these times when I am weary and exhausted, for You are with me and providing my rest.

Thank you God for another sober day.

Thank you God for the sounds that love and laughter make in our home. These were silent before my recovery, and You made them whole in my life again.

Thank you God for the comforts of our homes, and the visits with people who care about us as we love them in return.

Thank you God for helping those who can't help themselves.

Thank you God for the love of our grandchildren, and the two new step-grandkids that will have entered our lives. Thank you for their youthful exuberance and energy.
