Today I am happier than I have ever been. During my addiction I lost touch with my sister whom I hadnt heard from in 6 years. Yesterday I got a call from her out of the blue and it is the best christmas gift I could have ever received. I havnt seen my mother in 12 years and my big sis says she is doing great and I was so happy to hear it. I feel like for once in my life I have all my family back and for that I am truly greatful. I am glad that she got to hear the sober me and it was such a gift. My sponsor always said that it would happen on God's time not mine and boy was she ever right. This has just proved to me that if I just keep doing the next right thing that God will take care of the rest. Thanks for listening yall! Thank you aa'ers for helping me get sober so I could fully apreciate this gift!
