Grateful that my eye issue is nothing serious and that I can get a simple laser treatment to clear it up in March.

Grateful for another day sober.

Grateful to hear FBL’s eye issue can be resolved relatively easily.
Grateful none of us is experiencing whatever desperation would drive a person to follow behind an Amazon truck stealing covid tests.
Grateful that although it was a fitful night, I was able to go back to sleep for the most part.
Grateful to be up in time to help my daughter get ready for a very early (and long! 9 hours) dance rehearsal.
Grateful my boss handles so very much of the outward facing stuff for our whole team.
Grateful I’m going to get to see an old friend one on one today and then we’ll be joined by a bunch of old work colleagues.
Grateful for Dee and Anna (and are there any other mods?) and how hard they work to keep everything running.
Grateful for what looks like will be a beautiful (and hopefully productive!) day.

Even though we do not have a date planned yet I am grateful for each day is a day closer to seeing Mr. Alpine
Grateful that even though I did not sleep well at all last night I had a comfortable bed to be in
Grateful that when my sister started to yell at me on the phone and be her normal condescending self I hung up on her and texted her and said " I will talk with you when you can show respect"
Grateful for my cold bike ride yesterday
Grateful for my MIL, we had a nice conversation last night

As for people following Amazon trucks, it is getting crazy out in CO. People will have a package delivered and within a few minutes it is gone. There have been lots of pictures of cars driving around with their vehicle full of packages and lots of empty boxes dumped in the alleys.

Grateful FBL's eye issue is not serious and an easy fix.
Grateful for a nice long hike with my daughter yesterday.
Grateful that my granddaughter is spending the night tonight.
Grateful I finally get to meet my new doctor and go over my health concerns with her on Monday. I have bad health anxiety and am nervous about it because I have had swollen glands since May and they don't know why. Might be acid reflux but seems farfetched.
Grateful that my daughter in NY is flying down to see my mom next week for a few days. I am so frustrated because I have three siblings down there in the same town and they don't go visit her very much. I hate the thought of her being alone in the skilled nursing center.
Grateful for SR and the GP.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful to be back and catching up on posts after a couple of days away.
Grateful my husband's biopsy went smoothly yesterday - now we wait.
Grateful my younger son is still willing to go camping, even in the snow and frozen temps (REALLY hoping he did a good job packing, although my H is the overpacking king, and I'm sure he supervised this time).
Grateful my older son got into another college - he still hasn't heard from his top 3 choices, but this latest acceptance may bode well for two of the others.
Grateful I can look at the beautiful snow from inside the house.
Grateful for a good night's sleep.
Grateful for Aziz Ansari's standup.
Grateful to be sober.

Palmer, I hope it’s nothing serious!
FBL, glad your eye is ok
Turps, sounds like a fun weekend. Have a great time!
Alpine, that is crazy about the Amazon stuff
Free, happy 5 months! Btw, I have been reading the body keeps the score thanks to your mention of it. Getting a lot out of this book. I can also relate to uncovering where those sometimes random crying episodes come from, as well as being more assertive about things that people say (including Mr F and sonny boy) that bother me. Grateful they are also receptive and not defensive. It wasn’t always that way
The one main thing I remember about home ec class in 7th grade was a fly landing on the ironing board, then a fellow classmate and I decided to iron it for a joke. I guess it’s sort of funny, but I’m not proud of that moment now that I think about it. It was the most cruel I’ve ever been to an “animal”
Grateful to set goals for self improvement for work and personally. Grateful for Youtube videos to help
Grateful sonny boy has his midterm second degree black belt test this morning. He’s two years in and about 2 more to go if he sticks with it. Either way, super proud of him. He already has his first degree black belt
Grateful to plan brunch with another black belt mom who’s become a close friend
Grateful to plan a run later today. Considering another half marathon
Grateful for nice weather

FBL, glad you have a plan for treatment.
Palmer, hope Mr. PS biopsy yields good news.
Fearless, that's so cool that your son has earned a black belt!
Grateful for a very sweet dinner with the kids last night, including lots of bittersweet reminiscing about Mr. T.
Grateful to feel connected to family & community, which has not always been the case. I've worked hard at building connections this year.
Grateful for the good weather lately which has gotten me outside a lot.
