Thank you God for a really nice and generous gesture, and some very kind words and a smile when I needed them most.

Thank you God for the old friends that stopped by to see me at the gate I was working last night, and thank you also for the new friends I've made in the past few months. Thank you God always for blessing me with these relationships that are so different from the darkness of my past.

Thank you God for getting me through this day and getting the errands out of the way that I am stressing out over. Thank you God for helping my mother and I have a nice visit. She's been a bit acerbic lately and it can be a bit rough to listen to. She's never been very nice. It's funny, she's so pretty and smart, yet she really begrudges anything except for her youngest, most awful daughter. She has every excuse for her bad behavior. She's always been my mom's very blatant favorite, no matter how ghastly she treats my mom. My mom has given her so much money and my sister and I didn't even get an iota of help with our college educations. Thank you God for taking this resentment from me. There is so much to this lovely life. Best to concentrate on the blessings and Good things. Thank you God for being with me on what feels like a difficult morning.

God we thank you for any kindness that you can instill in Aly's mother and we lift up their relationship to you always for peace and love.
Yes, thank you God for the warmth of the sunshine, yesterday started with ice here and it was a cold day with our heat not working in the office. We know these are luxury issues Lord but we thank you for our blessings of comfort.

Dear Aly: Sending up prayers that your Mom will find peace, and that she will find a way to reach out and make amends.
Thank you, God, that I could view Field of Dreams
and actually get what they're saying this time around, many years later! (CC does wonders for those of us, who are hard of hearing...)

Thank you God, that my special work assignment ends this week. I feel so worn down, not sleeping well at all, but a lesson has been learned about what I put my hand up for.
