Hi all - I missed a couple of days due to crazy work stress, but I'm back.
Hev, so happy you're here and survived the move. Every time I move, I say NEVER again. It's so stressful.
Aly, TJ Maxx has an awesome selection of skincare and makeup too. I don't normally go to Ross, because the one near me is kind of crappy, but Marshalls and TJ Maxx are incredible. What kind of magnetic lashes do you use? I would love to try something understated, but I feel like I'm not coordinated enough to pull them off. They would need to be REALLY easy to use!

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful to have a chance to stay in our guest area because my husband is sick. It's actually really cozy and comfortable down here, especially the bathroom which is the nicest one in the house.
Grateful the really important documents I produced for work are out of my hands. They are not perfect (which I honestly hate, because I know that just invites harsh criticism from high-profile people who will already be annoyed that they received them "at the last minute" before making a big decision). But I also know that they are great work products overall, especially considering previous stuff that was produced. I really hope my big boss sends them this morning, instead of sitting on them like he sometimes does.
Grateful to get my dog DNA results! Suffice it to say I was absolutely floored. My dogs are sisters and they are medium-sized, fluffy, blond, terrier types - and they are 30% pit bull! They are also a mix of another large dog that looks kind of like a German Shepherd? But of course, they give you the "family tree" and one whole side is poodle, schnauzer, yorkie, etc, so they just totally take after that side. The site connected me to "relatives," and let me just say that these cousins would NOT be claiming my girls as kinfolk at a family reunion! Too funny, and such a fun exercise. I messaged the owner of one of my dog's cousins and suddenly though, "THIS is how I'm spending my time?" LOL!!!
Grateful my younger son is volunteering at a fair in a really cool, historic town near us.
Grateful my older son is (hopefully!) working on his college applications?
Grateful that I can take some time to relax today.
Grateful to be sober.

Good to see you, Berkie
Thank you for that memory, FBL
Palmer, what an interesting mix!
Grateful to have such a fun time with friends at the beach and campsite. It was a beautiful day as well. We told ghost stories around the campfire. Got back very late. Grateful to sleep in a little
Grateful to receive a package from Venus with the cute top I ordered
Grateful for a relaxing day with no plans
Grateful for a breakfast panini

Grateful to be here even if I haven’t kept up.
Aly I saw your post about makeup. I’ve been a makeup addict since teen years. Have you heard of falscara? Paulina Porizkova has a YouTube on it. I have purchased it but haven’t attempted it yet.
Grateful my DIL is doing better.
Just plain grateful to not have a hangover!

Least - Still praying for relief for you.
Numblady - Good that you got that extra sleep. You no doubt needed it. I hate when I can't get my mind to stop & just lie there staring at ceiling.
FBL - Thank you for the RZ tribute. I still can't believe it.
PalmerSage - Thank you. This really does have to be the last time for us. Whatever's wrong I'll just suck it up. Maybe there won't be anything to whine about - so far, so good.
Doggie DNA results were so interesting! Very surprising the girls are 1/3 Pittie, based on your description. Love it that you messaged the owner of one of the doggie cousins... I say it's wise use of your time.

Grateful the pile of stuff to be done grows smaller.
Grateful for new beginnings & a new routine.
Grateful for the warm friendships we form here.

Least, prayers going up for relief. I am so very sorry.

Grateful for a beautiful day yesterday. I slept in, then instead of forcing myself to do a hard workout, I just rode my e-bike over to a free and gentle yoga session at a studio I had never heard of. The have it outside in a small grove of trees just right there in the middle of a kind of modern community college campus. We were in dappled sunlight and it was pretty warm but there was a nice breeze that just felt like it was holy somehow. It was so beautiful I feared up at a couple of points with gratitude. Then later, on top of sleeping in, I took a short nap. Also beautiful.
Grateful to go crazy at the dim sum restaurant so I could belatedly celebrate dumpling day.
Grateful to be able to help an old friend who needed money for medicine.
Grateful my parents will come stay with us starting tonight (husband goes out of town for a week starting Wednesday so it will be nice to have an extra driver!).
Grateful for unbroken sleep last night.
Grateful for this supportive group.

Sending prayers for least and relief.

Grateful my parents made it in safely last night.
Grateful headache and disorientation is not from drinking.
Grateful going crazy at the dim sum restaurant has already provided for dinner 2 nights and there’s still a lot left! Turns out it was pretty affordable.
Grateful I got to try several new items off the menu and have now discovered other dumplings I like
Grateful Hev is getting settled in.
Grateful for all of you.
