Grateful for the little random acts of kindness that people often do. Just now I was walking Billie and waiting to cross the street. The van I was waiting for, stopped and motioned for us to cross. I waved and blew them a kiss. Little things like that just make my day. And I get just as happy about little grats as I do about big ones.

Grateful Hev’s cousin is out of pain and suffering—but still sorry for her cancer and passing.
Grateful to have some bandwidth to do something here and here for friends now that I have a less all-consuming job.
Grateful to be closing on a refinance next week.
Grateful for least’s awesome little kindness with the van.
Grateful for my sweet daughter’s letter to her future sleepaway camp. She talked about all her questions and that she is “probably overthinking this like I usually do” and addressed it to “Everyone at Camp”. It was just such a pure thing.
Grateful my husband really liked the dinner I made last night.
Grateful for solid sleep.
Grateful for all of you
Grateful to have some bandwidth to do something here and here for friends now that I have a less all-consuming job.

Aly, OMG! Zacahary’s pizza is the best! Not sure if you go to the one in/near Rocklin? Mr F and I used to go there all the time. I haven’t been there in years. I need to take my son there sometime. He would love it. Have a great lunch!

Grateful for the really early walk on the beach... was too early to start out on walk as it was too dark for me.. but the moonlight let me see the way....

Aly and Fearless, I'm in the Zach's pizza fan club too. I lived in Chicago for a time, and miss that stuffed pizza (and all of Chicago's amazing food), but Zachary's does the trick.
Grateful the weekend is here and Mr. T gets his second shot, and I get one too.
Grateful to build bridges with the boss I had difficulty with last year ... we both are trying sincerely and there is more kindness there.
Grateful for my tea and my birdwatching time, and the audubon warbler and hermit thrust who visited today.

Tursi, it's almost as good as Lou Malnati's in Chicago. I lived in Chicago for a long time too, but a native CA. At least I can get a great pizza fix once in a while. I love the one in Berkeley but we have one kind of close now and it's good. Glad you and Fearless like it a lot too. I hadn't had it for a long time either. It's soo good and I ate too much.
Grateful for a lovely day. Grateful for all the support and feel good vibes I get here.
Grateful to do a favor for my mom later.
I have to get back to checking off the things from my list. I wish they would extend the IRS filing deadline. Things are just flying by. I still need to deal with my IRS situation.

May 17 is when taxes are due - but you probably already know that.

CBS, that's cool that your daughter got into grad school with a scholarship!
I'm really grateful for my health today. Had to have a covid test before my colonoscopy Monday. It took a very short time and I already got the results back - it's negative!! Yippee! Now just eagerly awaiting my second vaccine shot.

Grateful for a quiet Saturday morning.
Grateful to get time out to post here.
Grateful to wake up feeling well.
Grateful Mr D had his 1st Covid jab yesterday, so far, so good, just a sore arm.
Grateful the high winds last night have caused no damage that I can see.
Grateful I don't need to leave the house today.
Grateful that my daughter is feeling better, she's been quite poorly with vertigo and labyrinthitis.
Grateful that the hospital let my son in law visit his mum ( Mandy) for 20 minutes yesterday, it really cheered her up and grateful that she feels that the physio is making a difference.
Grateful for our wonderful N.H.S and all hospital staff.
Grateful to read Least's lovely post re the van man.
Grateful that Aly got to celebrate her birthday at last.
Grateful for all of you. xx

Grateful for all this pizza talk! I grew up on NY style (thin crust) but I've always wanted to try a really good deep dish. I'm guessing Pizzeria Uno in the 90s wasn't super authentic? 
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful that my husband took my older son to his early morning meet, so I could sleep in until 8.
Grateful that my son has another shot at the SAT.
Grateful that my younger son is usually so sweet about watching TV with us - we recently discovered a Netflix show about the history of video games, which has really interested my husband and him.
Grateful for another sunny day.
Grateful for better eating habits.
Grateful it's Saturday.

Grateful for remembering Zachary's pizza, took 3 Zachary's to the kids' house last night and enjoyed it immensely. Too immensely.
Grateful for hanging out with my grandbaby yesterday .. since he lives only in the moment, I get to practice that when I'm with him.
