BKA I love that story about your mom. My lifelong best friend and I have plans to wreak havoc at the nursing home.
Aly glad you're getting all your admin stuff done! I tend to go in bursts as well.
Grateful for my sister who shares the same values as I do. We're going through a major rift with our parents right now and I'm so grateful for her love and support. Grateful that it was over 70 degrees in Philly today so I opened all the windows and the fresh air felt great. Grateful that I'm heading to Denver next weekend and not this weekend as there is a lot of snow on the way.

I loved reading this, it brought back great memories of my Dad. He could be a handful, sorta like a bratty child at times, and I wasn't showing much grace, but I'm glad he was with us for as long as possible and grateful I could be there for him.

It's time to go to another hunting camp, I'll be away tomorrow. I'm grateful for this time I'll spend laughing with friends and hopefully we'll have some kids there to show some skills.

Grateful for health
Reading daily and evening bible lessons
Counting the days (should I be doing that?)
Doing what it takes to stay sober and not relapse...
Making it to 71 days!!!
Still on that rollercoaster

Good evening all. I will try to make it an early night as the time change is tomorrow night.

Introvrt, congrats on 71 days. That is a good start. Keep at it.

Today I'm grateful for
-zooming with my sister when I was feeling particularly unmotivated and actually getting some more taxes done
- my ridiculous prepping for tomorrow's storm - I have the most motley collection of candles
-doing 15 min of yoga during the news - it is almost but not quite a habit

Onward into March all.

Grateful for another day with my beagirl Billie.

Grateful sonny boy won a Beat sabor VR contest
What's that, if I may ask? I know that VR is virtual reality, but not familiar with the rest.

-texting snow Haiku back and forth with my siblings
- strawberry panna cotta for desert tonight

It is indeed a dark and stormy night tonight and for that I am grateful.

Least, yes- beat sabor is a virtual reality game. The player is in a surreal room with neon lights. These red and colored blocks approach the player to the best of music. The player has red and blue neon light sabers that he has to slash the blocks with (using the correct color sabor matching the block color). The game has different levels of difficulty. It’s very fast. He got up to expert level. I tend to stick to easy when I play 😊. It is a great work out at any level. And so much fun. I love this VR system. The one we got is Occulus. It has meditations too.
Grateful sonny boy has a friend sleeping over
Grateful Mr F and I started watching Frontier
Grateful for a good nap with Charlie today

Grateful to meet so many new people over the weekend.
Grateful that even though a storm blew in we managed to keep the tents, tables, and canopies held down while we finished our cooking and shared so many great dishes around the bonfire.
Grateful to be back home safe and secure in our home and to bring with me more good memories.

Astro, so glad you had fun. This brings back so many memories of camping when I was younger. We used to go with a group of friends. Some would go abalone diving and then we’d prepare a big feast. Breaded and deep fried abalone around the camp fire! Such a delicacy.
Least, I discovered that the iTunes Store has beat saber music so I downloaded it. It’s not just for slashing blocks. It’s great music for running and dancing too 😊
Grateful to spend a long time with sonny boy today exploring Mine Craft worlds
Grateful for an outing at Target

Hi all from yet another Dark and Stormy Night.

Today I'm grateful for
-Dad and his walker barging into my room this morning as he was excited for the first Mass in a year today
-All the old people so happy to be at mass
-Seeing my Niece and Nephews on Zoom

I can get anxious for all the unknowns in the future and I just think "Next right step."

This is so crucial for me as I tend to awful-ize the future, fearing the worst, and have to remind myself to just take the next step.

Yes, that sounds like fun and deep fried abalone sounds delicious!

Grateful also to return to the normal of life after a weekend adventure.
Weird dreams last night, that the roof of our garage had collapsed. Grateful it's in one piece
Grateful that I have a busy and productive week ahead.
Grateful for the Starbucks turmeric coffee K-cups I found in clearance.

Grateful I got some stuff re my health insurance done and dropped off this morning, picked up some things at the store, walked Luke and vacuumed downstairs. This crazy weather makes my head and back hurt sometimes. I guess that may be an old wives tale but I find the changing barometric pressure can trigger migraines, which I found out was a brain disease and all of us who have bad backs or arthritis, knows the weather can make it act up, I think.
It's been cloudy all day, but no rain yet. Maybe we'll get lucky again and it will rain at night and be nice during the day. Grateful we've gotten some precip that way last week and hoping we get more soon.
Grateful I get my 2nd Covid vaccine on Friday, the day before my bday. I think my mom and I will get a nice lunch or something. As I age, I'd just as soon not make a big deal about it anymore. When my eldest nephew was playing Rugby in H.S., I had to take him to an all day tournament in the pouring rain on my bday. It was fine and I was so grateful to be spending time with my nephew, even in the rain and freezing in the stands. Their little hard scrabble team won the whole tournament against all of these primo schools in the Tri-Valley. It was great though!
Love and peace to all esp anyone sufferring in anyway, animals too. Sleep well and Pleasant Dreams.

tonight's gratitudes are for

- piles of windblown snow
-knowing the snow will go fast as it is March and the days are long
-doing 15 min of yoga during the evening news (new habit I'm trying to develop and it feels good)
- getting some more taxes done on zoom with my sister (every little bit is such a victory for me as I hate dealing with money)
-my second vaccine coming up tomorrow.

Have a good Tuesday everyone and keep watching for the good stuff.
