Daisy - RIP Dad's kitty. A blessing he went in his sleep.
RZ - Happy you are comfortable. Yes, budda - never too much budda.
Piotr - Nice that you had interaction - I'm out of practice!
Numblady - I feel your pain, sitting here on my cheap old office type chair that needs to be replaced. Don't even remember where I got it, but it's all wobbly & no support.
Grateful for optimism.
Grateful to be on good terms with those I alienated in the past.
Grateful for good intentions, even when they go astray.
Love to all - hope your day is going well.

When I was a kid, my best friend's mom made homemade bread often. As soon as a loaf was cooled enough to slice, she'd give us a slice with butter. Better than dessert.

Today I'm so very grateful for my critters and their devotion to me. Billie and Lily and Franny contribute to my well being every day.

Grateful to be the only one up in the house at the moment.
Grateful for this short time to myself and the peace and quiet.
Grateful for a 2nd morning coffee.
Grateful for my big, pink, fluffy dressing gown, it's old but it's so warm and comfy.
Grateful for central heating and to have the fire on too for a short while ( or till Mr D gets up, lol).
Grateful I have enough food in my cupboards.
Grateful for all my 'have's.'
Grateful to be here with you all.

Keep safe xx

Grateful to realize that I need to make some long overdue changes to my diet and exercise routines. A little high cholesterol wake-up call!

Grateful for another day sober.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful I was able to get a haircut yesterday, for the first time in a year: Long hair to a short bob in no time flat, and an awesome scalp massage, too.
Grateful for great salads and also chocolate.
Grateful to recognize some unhelpful patterns in my thinking.
Grateful that I don't have to be perfect, or please everyone.
Grateful to remind myself that most things are out of my control.
Grateful to feel a little bit more organized than usual as I start the weekend.
Grateful to be sober.

Grateful for messages from my wonderful friend, least
Grateful for eight hours of sleep last night. Looking back, with exception of occasional bad nights, sleep has been one thing that has improved from the pandemic. With Mr F retired now, we sleep in until 6:19 am (strangely, our internal clock wakes us up exactly at this time most days). I have not been waking up in the middle of the night as I used to
Grateful the bread turned out amazing. I am learning how to increase the sourness. I’ve made two loaves now. Love Rusty’s reference to bread and buddha. A good business name would be The Bread Buddha. Perhaps in another life time 😊
((((Daisy))))
Grateful the collective good is coming through to fight evil forces
Grateful for my precious cogs. I need to spend more time with Charlie. Queen Daisy is getting all the love lately
Grateful to spend time on an art project today. Grateful to also go for a hike later
Grateful to schedule a therapy session for next week to work through grief

Hurray for Boardwalks worldwide - I agree.
Dev - You were way earlier than me.
Grateful for the bright sun today - been too long. Vitamin D deprived.
Grateful for a brighter mood -holiday slump over.
Grateful to avoid being drawn into an argument that no one can actually win.
Grateful to know I will be slimmer by spring. Sure I will.
Grateful for all my dear friends here.

Grateful for a slow but lovely start to the day

Grateful to have negotiated a few urges yesterday. They're getting stronger and more frequent but I refuse to be bullied by my addiction any more!!

Grateful for Dev's 11 weeks - you're giving such an amazing gift to yourself and your family (speaking as the daughter of a mom with bulimia who has worried about it forever).
Grateful for the boardwalk pictures Courage posted.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for a sleepy, quiet house where I'm the only one awake.
Grateful for this laptop, and every other tech tool and modern, creature-comfort amenity we have available.
Grateful to be trying some new things, and experimenting with some new products.
Grateful to remain aware that everything I bring into my house counts as "inventory" that I have to manage.
Grateful for a decent night's sleep last night.
Grateful that my husband took my son hiking yesterday.
Grateful to have a splurge sweater purchase on the way.
Grateful to have a brother who shares my ridiculous sense of humor.
Grateful to be sober.

Joining Mags in prayers that Aly is ok.

Grateful you all are inspiring me to make some more bread! (Or to get my bread maker to make some more )
Grateful we are supposed to have a wintry mix here in TX today, with possibility of actual snow. Trying to not let my kids’ hopes get too high but definitely holding out some hope they may see some actual snow.
Grateful for a drive-by birthday party for my daughter yesterday.
Grateful Dev is beating back/down those urges.
Grateful the whole house is still asleep.
Grateful for all of you.
