Oh dear Daisy. So glad the new kitty worked out.
I love you too so very much. You are welcome. I'll be sending good California vibes too! Not to sound too cliché, but I think there is something to it. 🥰

Good evening Grats as we wind to the end of the first day of March

Tonight I'm grateful
- I got out of the apartment
-my Dad didn't like the pants I bought him
This might sound strange but when old people show a bit of feistiness, I feel they still have an interest in life. Dad is so easy going that to have him object to the trouser I bought him kind of made me happy. Mom used to refuse to return to the Memory Center when she was visiting Dad. I loved when she did this.
-I talked to my sister twice today
-being able to do a bit of gardening by means of making snowballs from the balcony and put them in the tree container.

Take that next right step to the best of your ability.

Grateful for another day with Billie.

Bekind, so nice you got to be with family and the old folks after so much time. I know what you mean about the feistiness too
Astro, what a lovely post
Aly, thank you so much. Love you sistah!
Daisy, so glad about the kitty news
Grateful to finally have sorted out the Apple phone transfer data and all the ID stuff. At least I think it’s sorted. Whew! This is something I would for sure like to whine about. Lol. Thanks for telling me about whiners least.
Grateful for a therapy session. Grateful for a new insight that despite my name being Fearless, what I really need to do is allow and accept the fear, even embrace it, make it my friend. It does make sense. There’s a freeing feeling to acknowledge it and not try to avoid it or control everything. Grateful for a good therapy session
Grateful for the tragedies I’ve experienced in life. This is where strength and self-growth come from
Grateful the garage door man will be here tomorrow to fix our door. We decided we will be getting new ones but there is a three month delay for installation. So for now we need a temporary fix so we can at least close it
Grateful to pass a really hard test for a certificate course I’m taking for work. I really thought I’d fail
Grateful my meeting tomorrow isn’t until 11:00

Fearless and Astro your discussion about past regrets and relationships reminded me of a quote I recently read: Never be a prisoner of your past. It was just a lesson, not a life sentence. As I'm fairly new to sobriety and trying to figure out how to forgive myself for the past, I took great comfort in that thought.
Grateful that my belongings were safely moved into my house today. Grateful to have help moving the heavy things. Did anyone else watch The Flight Attendant? Very interesting plot line involving alcohol abuse. Grateful for shows that have interesting and entertaining over the past year. Good night, all.

Love it, thank you for sharing that AT!

Grateful I get to visit an AA old-timer, "New York Joe" this afternoon and bring over some coffee & donuts. He and so many others have been a huge support and influence in my recovery over the last 16 years. I'm really grateful he's still around and sends me an occasional text to come over and chat for awhile.

AT, I watched the first part of The Flight Attendant and wanted to watch the second part. Sounds interesting. The trouble we could get ourselves into when using and drinking. Scary and glad so many of us are well. I love, never be a prisoner of our past, trying to work on that one.
Fearless, I finally watched Schitt's Creek. It is hilarious. I hope they show reruns since I think you said it is over? I'd like to see the other episodes.
Daisy, thinking of you. Take good care of yourself during this time, my friend. Sending prayers your way.

Irk. I do need to get myself to whiners. I kind of went after my Aunt because of the news media she chooses to watch. She believes lots of conspiracy theories. I feel badly as she is old and I know the pandemic has been tough on her. Ugh. I feel like a turd.

Tonight I'm grateful
- my Dad decided he likes the trousers I bought him (funny guy)
- for Mags and Toots posting from the UK - I feel I get to travel through them a bit
-I got out of the house again to run an errand - the cashier was from Bosnia and we had a good chat.

Autumn, you said something about self-forgiveness. Ugh. Tough stuff. I will need to call my Aunt later in the week and talk about stuff that is more fun. Ugh.

Grateful for my new dryer.
Grateful my little ones basketball season is winding down.
Grateful to be able to make dinner dinney family, even though it wasn't the original plan.
Grateful for the SMART and Dharma meetings I attended today.
Grateful for meditation.
Grateful for a beautiful sunny day.

I like that quote AT
Aly, I must put Flight Attendant on my list
Grateful least told me about whiners. It felt good to get some things out.
Grateful to watch Soul tonight with family. Good movie
Grateful for low carb pasta
Grateful sonny boy has seemed in better spirits lately and prioritizing homework too. Perhaps I was overreacting to things that are simply normal for his age and with what is going on with school and pandemic. I’m just glad he’s been more upbeat
Grateful to be going to bed sober as usual 😊

Grateful for my visit with a friend, even our barely warm coffee...ugh...wasn't that bad. It ain't about the coffee and donuts
Grateful to hit the snooze button and sleep an extra 1/2 hour, I think that coffee in the afternoon wasn't my best idea, barely slept.
Grateful to be listening to Right Now Media this morning, some good Christian series.
