NL, thank you so very much. I got the results this morning and all is well! I So appreciate the prayer and good thoughts. Prayers to you too. I know you are struggling now. All things pass and I am so hoping your new job is great! We are all here for you
Notch, congrats on your sober time!
Fearless, you'll do great!
Grateful for a good night's sleep although I'm still a bit tired.
Grateful for the Grat Pack. Grateful for my blessings. Grateful that my mom's old car clonked out but got a slightly used 'new' one. Grateful she will be safer in this car. She has to go back to the dealer to find out how the gadgets work. I guess it's pretty complicated. If I feel well enough, she asked if I wanted to go. To be honest I don't, but I think she wants some support. I'll bring Luke, we'll probably be outside anyway. We can't leave him alone unless he's tranquilized because he has the worst separation anxiety I've ever seen. I don't like tranqing him unless there is no other way. He's getting old now. So, I guess the three of us will go back to the car dealership to figure out my mom's new car. It is a pretty one.
Have a wonderful Saturday. Love and peace to all.

Up before 5am on a Sunday....

Grateful for a solid day's work yesterday. Got my flower bed tidied up for winter. Now it needs to rain a bit to settle it all in.

Grateful for a supportive wife.

Grateful for sound sleep. Woke up hungry for some ego waffles!

Fearless - I'd be nervous too - but I'm sure you know your stuff & will be impressive! (I was always such a coward, & held myself back.)
Aly - That's cool about the new car. You're a good mama to Luke.
Notch - Look at you...up before 5. I don't remember ever doing that (unless I was still up from the night before).
FBL - I loved it! Very helpful. Ev is lovely.
Grateful for the sun shining through the red & orange leaves.
Grateful to admit I still have a lot to learn.
Grateful for coffee & French vanilla cream.
Grateful for our meeting here today - you are the best!

Grateful for some small breakthroughs in personal growth.

Thank you for the confidence Aly and Hev! Hev, I have held myself back too. From a combination of both fear of failure and fear of success. It’s often the case that we ourselves are the only ones standing in our way I’m learning to be more self confident, and now in mid fifties and sober I finally am liking who I am (most of the time. Lol)
Grateful for all those expressing gratitude for their spouses here. I’m grateful for mine too
Numblady, hope your hubby is doing better
Grateful for Stevie Nicks
Grateful for The Handmaids Tale. I can’t get enough! Grateful I am binging on this and not alcohol.
Grateful for my wireless headphones for tv
Grateful I have an audiogram finally in two weeks after Covid delays to re-evaluate my hearing loss. It’s worse than it was two years ago when I was told I have 25% loss. Will be getting hearing aids
Grateful for cooler weather all day long so I can go for a run in the middle of the afternoon
Grateful for each of you

Thank you, Hev. Always grateful for your wisdom, humor, and just you!
Grateful the weather has definitely cooled down, esp in the morning.
Grateful for my good friends here and all of your support.
Grateful to be able to feel gratitude and know how important it is to my sobriety and well being.
Have a wonderful day all!

Grateful for FBL giving the video link. So inspiring. I loved the comment about if you’re awake in the night, thinking of what you’re grateful for.

Grateful it’s another sober day. Can’t get enough of them.
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful for Billie's company when I'm up late. She sticks with me no matter what my schedule.

Grateful that I was advised many years ago to practice gratitude as a way of bolstering my sobriety. Not only does it do that, but it makes me happier too.

Thankful for a good night's sleep. Morning came way too fast!

Thankful to get another week on the way, even though I will face some challenged both known and unknown.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for the gorgeous fall leaves.
Grateful for telework.
Grateful I was able to catch up on laundry over the weekend.
Grateful to realize how my perfectionism is holding me back in so many situations - now, to act on that realization rather than continuing to procrastinate.
Grateful my parents returned safely from their trip, and that they had a nice time with friends.
Grateful to be sober.
