Thank you Opi! Hope my friend is well!
Rusty, I'm so sorry about your bad news. I'm sending up prayers too.
Grateful to get some color on my hair this morning. My roots were making me uncomfortable. Grateful for when the hair salons reopen. Not that I go that often, but I like highlights a few times a year and I could use a trim. My grandmother was a hairdresser in Chicago where she used to do Al Capone's mother and sisters hair and then later moved out to CA. My sister has always owned a salon until recently. So we've had hairdressers in the family.
Grateful this headache I have this morning is not from imbibing! Probably the weather change. It's supposed to get quite hot again. From what I've noticed since I moved back here a long time ago, Sept can be the hottest month of the year. Just when you're ready to cool down, well September rolls around. Hopefully the fire gods with have mercy on us.
Grateful for my blessings that I so often forget to remember.
Thinking about NL and hoping she is ok.
Grateful for the Grat Pack!

Rusty, Im Sorry to hear of bad news. Sending positive vibes your way. Your strength and courage are such an inspiration
Aly, sorry about your headache. I’ve had some strange symptoms too, from the smoke. Better today. Hope air gets back to normal soon.
Anaya, thank you for that. I love Gordon Lightfoot
Grateful to see Deserto
Grateful to watch an inspiring story on Dr Phil. I hardly ever watch him but I just happened to come across it today and it was one of the more uplifting episodes. Grateful that we can find beauty in imperfection and darkness
Grateful for left over beef stew for lunch
Grateful my Dad looked happy and comfortable in the picture his nurse sent
Grateful for self control
Grateful for all of you

RZ, prayers going up. I am grateful you keep dusting yourself off. but I am very sorry that you keep needing to.
Hev, Fearless, Aly (and anyone else I didn’t memorize), thanks for the kind words about my brother. Trying to give myself grace for the whole pandemic thing but some of it feels like me making an excuse for just not being willing to make the big changes.

Grateful all things pass eventually.
Grateful we got a ton of rain, felt fitting while we were experiencing thunderous and merciless questioning in our hearing.
Grateful to have time to come back here today, even if I’m just feeling kind of overwhelmed and reeling a bit from things at work.

Thanks for the new part Opi!

Grateful to take Billie for a long walk to the store to get a few things. Grateful that the whole walk (2.2 miles) was done in less than an hour. I walk pretty fast for an old lady...

Grateful for Billie's company on my walks.

Grateful for all of my fellow Gratters.

I, too, am a fan of English English & try to use it (mother born in Sheffield).
Numb - Another day to do and be better - thanks for that.
Grateful for a gorgeous sunny day & a visit to the Home Goods store in which I will purchase stuff I likely don't need.
Grateful for all of you who show up here & elsewhere on SR. I'm honored to be in your company.
Grateful to acknowledge I need to stop worrying & fretting about that which I can't control.
Grateful for a drama free life (at the moment).

Grateful to be with the Grat Pack today!
Grateful for A/C, it's been running since early this morning. It is usually cool in the morning here, but not today!
Grateful for a good night's sleep.
Grateful for working to get rid of drama too. So draining. Life feels better without drama, for sure.
Grateful to be practicing acceptance more and more, except when I can help or stand up for something wrong. Otherwise I am really trying to accept each day as it comes. ODAAT, have to remember that.
Grateful for my friendships here
Grateful we can all gather here on SR. So glad I found it about 8 years ago. I actually quit smoking here pretty quickly on the Stop smoking thread about 7+ years ago. And then after a lot of stops and starts with alcohol, finally got sober and work everyday to try to stay that way.
NL, sending good wishes and prayers to you. I hope you are feeling better.
Love and peace to all of you, especially anyone suffering in anyway.
