Grateful to have gotten some rest this weekend.
Grateful that although family movie night was a disaster (again...we can’t seem to successfully watch a full movie together...i fret), we all recovered and last night my daughter and I finished the movie (and some of the candy ).
Grateful that we skipped. Meet the teacher since the teacher told everyone yesterday, TWO days before the school year begins, that he found a different job that allows him to work from home.
Grateful to get the perspective of other moms on the situation. I was so angry and upset about it but the first one to weigh in said she and her daughter just kind of laughter about it and that she was happy for the teacher he found a job that would allow him to stay home. Grateful for role models like that. Definitely a work in progress for me to have that level of acceptance and tolerance!
Grateful that after the fateful movie night (basically my son called my husband an idiot to his face and got grounded from screens and husband and i had a disagreement about handling and we all just gave up on watching the movie), i talked to my son some and he ended up laying in bed with me to try and sleep there. He was so sweet and asked if we could give the cat a bath for our special time the following day.
Grateful my son likes giving our cat a bath, because it also then forces him to take a shower.
Grateful to have lots of opportunities for family growth.
Grateful for Courage’s union and recognition of organized labor today.
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful for coffee!
Grateful for another beautiful day.
Grateful that my older son confided in me yesterday, and that I had what seemed to be the right reaction (for once, haha!)
Grateful for some peace and quiet.
Grateful for some clarity about my feelings, and slightly better communication with my husband.
Grateful I did some baking yesterday, which was pretty relaxing.
Grateful for incremental weight loss.
Incredibly grateful to be sober.

Grateful today is Labor Day. I love NL's support of organized unions and echo the sentiment. Glad our Cour is protected by one.
I woke up in a start that I had forgotten to get my car smogged, then remembered it was Labor Day so I'll have to get it done very soon. My DMV is due very soon. Grateful I remembered to get that done!
Grateful for Rusty and his great outlook.
Grateful for a PM this morning from a friend.
Grateful to see Mags.
Grateful to see all these wonderful posts this morning.
Love and peace to all.

Hev, it was Forrest Gump. I’m not even really a big fan of the movie (or really even a fan at all) but it’s good for kids and they are in to repetition apparently so that’s what we watched.
Cour, I am pretty sure this won’t work as my brain stubbornly refuses to learn how to paste pics in so I’m just copying and pasting but here goes:

Ok that didn’t work at all! Maybe some day I will learn and you can see the pic of our silly cat getting his bath.

Grateful my daughter had her first pandemic play date at long last yesterday. Even if it ended it some drama at least she got outside with a friend for a while!
Grateful (kind of) for the return to school.
Grateful to be up early.
Grateful the weekend was a good blend of work and not-work.
Grateful for friends in the computer.

N.L It's impossible to copy/paste pics here. I use post image, it's easy and it's free. Then get the url from post image and copy it into the little box at the top of here that looks like a stamp and bingo.

Grateful to drop g.son at school safely, he didn't want to go this morning, he hates school today, it's boring and he asked if he could just have today off and stay home with me. Ermmmm no thanks, you've just had 6 months off.
Grateful for my health.
Grateful that the sun has come out.
Grateful to clean the cupboard under the sink and think of a better way to store all the stuff that's in there.
Grateful my g.daughter loved her first day at high school yesterday and made 2 new friends.
Grateful Mr D,B's heartburn has gone this morning, he was suffering last night.
Grateful for a 2nd cup of coffee.
Grateful for my little cat.
Grateful for kind people.
Grateful that P.S's son confides in her, that's good.
Grateful that Rusty has his big boy briefs on, you wear them well R.Z.
Grateful for Hevyn reminding me that I am not the only one who muddles through.
Grateful as always to read Aly's grats.
Grateful for a message from Courage informing me that my town is in the Domesday book and is ancient. Who knew? I learn so much here. Thanks Cour x
Grateful for Caramels reminder to be grateful for all workers.
Grateful for my friend Mags, she really helps me keep on track.
Grateful to have Least as one of my friends who live in the computer.
Grateful that F.B.L posts here, he is a constant inspiration to stay sober.
Grateful for the ability to learn something new.
Grateful for all of you. xxx

Grateful for Daisy's post.
Grateful I got my laundry done, despite the sun being red, so much smoke and irritants in the air, so smokey and very hot. I wasn't feeling well this morning or yesterday and I think it's all the gunk in the atmosphere. So Grateful for Cal Fire and volunteers for the grueling work they are doing fighting these fires. Praying for their safety.
Grateful for Luke and his amazing loyalty. Grateful for loyalty in human and animal.
Grateful for the really good people here.
Love and peace to you all!
