I'm Grateful

I'm grateful for so many things today. Grateful that I am staying sober, (it will be a year next month)

grateful for my families good health, and mine. I'm also grateful for all the help that I'v received from AA and my higher power. And I'm very grateful for finding Sober Recovery; I'v been inspired by so many here.

Hi Rena, Its lovely to hear people are just as happy as I am about being sober. I bet neither one of us thought life could be this nice! Its hard for me to be unhappy today when I know any day I wake up is a blessing. I honestly believe I am on borrowed time after all the things i have lived through! I use to hear people say that there worst day sober was better than there best day drunk and I always thought they were lying but it turns out they weren't. I am greatful for my sobriety too! Keep looking up once you past your first b-day time really starts to fly. I just celebrated 3 years yesterday and it feels like I just had my one year 6months ago. I guess time fly's when your having fun! LOL!!! Have a great day!
