Grateful that Billie loves the hard boiled eggs I've been giving her. It pleases me to give her something that she likes so much and is so good for her.

Grateful for Nerf’s info for YouTube link. (I’m unsure too!).
Grateful for all of you.
Grateful I’m sober.

Happy happy bday Sunpengwn!!

Aww Cour. So awesome. One of my favorite pieces of music. So much so that I walked down the aisle to it at my wedding. Love being able to actually see the women singing it.

Grateful to Courage for that link.
Grateful for Hev sharing the backdrop for the Lennon song. I did not know.
Grateful for Nef and the info on posting Y/T links even if I’m still too lazy to practice it
Grateful to think about my wedding playlist. All the promise and hope and careful planning And what i like to think was cool music.. And using some kind of weird mp3 of sorts with like an external little memory cartridge. Oh those days!
Grateful that although it is hot here, it’s not Baghdad-hot. I can’t believe people live somewhere the temps just hit 125. I hope they make it through and people are ok.
Grateful people at work really seem to care about me.
Grateful I am not generally suspicious of peoples’ motives or character.
Grateful I spent some time with my son last night working in the yard and forcing him off his video game. He announced to his buddies through his head set “I guess I’ll be back in 13000 hours because my mom wants to do stuff with me.” You can feel the love right through your computer screen can’t you ? I gave him some options of activities and he picked earning some money by working in the yard. But only on certain jobs, mind you. He was charged with watering some trees and was really proud of himself for rigging up a two-hose method so the buckets i use filled more quickly (i saw this was what the city did to care for its trees so i adopted the method; just drill a few holes in the bottom of a 5-gallon bucket so water drains out relatively slowly but you know how much you have watered).
Grateful for the day I talked to the city employee who was watering trees so I could learn more.
Grateful to stay curious.
Grateful to be here with all of you.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful that my husband is finally getting his pool table, even though I will probably hate it.
Grateful that my kids expressed some curiosity about careers and salaries last night. It led to an interesting discussion!
Grateful my older son accompanies me to the walking trail most evenings.
Grateful for our 7-11 routine afterwards, when I can sail past the alcohol.
Grateful to have a newfound appreciation for my sobriety.
Grateful to feel slightly more connected to a few of my new work colleagues.
Grateful for telework, so grateful, it will be strange to return to an office full-time even though I would do it immediately if asked. So many essential workers have bravely put themselves right out there in the middle of the pandemic.
Grateful my region is currently faring very well, by all accounts.
Grateful to be sober, and for SR.

Grateful for Zippy and his 15 years here!
Grateful for courages humor and videos
Grateful for nerf’s videos
Grateful for Bradley Cooper too. He’s a beautiful man. Really like Silver Linings Playbook
Grateful for Numblady’s reference to being in Kafkaesque times. I loved reading Kafka (The Trial and The Castle are my favs) and have often thought about how the surreal stories remind me of what I have been going through with my Dad since late last year, and what many people experience with the pandemic, the unemployment offices and other gov agencies.
Grateful to be there for my Dad
Grateful for Mr F
Grateful for sunflowers

Grateful to sleep in a little today.
Grateful Rusty is keeping up with his PT! That is wonderful to hear.
(((Fearless))) Sending prayers to you and your Dad that the move goes well.
Mags, hoping you are feeling better. Thinking about you!
Grateful to see Nef. Glad you're here!
Grateful for the gems of wisdom I get here.
Grateful for the Grat Pack, as always.

What a wonderful choice!

Grateful that I know right from wrong -- and I know that what I thought was right when I was a drunk was just about 180 degrees wrong.

Grateful Fearless reminded me of how I enjoyed reading Kafka but especially the one about the dung beetle — because it was when I was living in Germany and much better at speaking and reading it and I read it in German. Think I’ve already mentioned that here but it was cool. Die Verwandlung is its name in German.
Grateful for the stacking and logical nature of the German language. Think my favorite word ever from there is Nachtbadewiese. I’m not even sure I’m spelling it or remembering it right but it means naked laying out place, and was the official designation for the place in the park where the generally pale Germans could be totally nude. The nudity freaked me out (people playing badminton nude??!) but I just thought it was so funny they had made this word to officially signify it, just layering one word after another.
Grateful Fearless is making it through some of the complexity with her dad’s affairs. Know it can’t be easy. Hope you are able to still also take care of yourself.
Grateful to be trying to get my team lined out so we can function better.
Grateful to be trying to listen for what is right rather than what protects my ego.
Grateful my daughter helped me pack for our trip back up to get our vehicle. We leave on Saturday. she takes great pride in being a perfect packer and having an Insta-worthy suitcase. So she helps me, because I would probably pack ten minutes before the trip. Now granted some of that is because in addition to packing myself I have to get the house ready for the cat sitter, water the plants, pack activities and snacks for the kids, bring the things the household needs like swimming and fishing stuff, etc. I don’t feel like it’s quite fair to call me the slow packer—BUT it is fair to say i would shove my own packing until the very last minute if I could.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for my friends in the computer.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for a rainy morning, very rare these days.
Grateful for some engaging conversations with my work colleagues this week.
Grateful my new boss seems to trust me.
Grateful for my silly reality TV shows, especially one I watched last night.
Grateful to be sober, instead of using this time of social distancing to be even more distant due to drinking.
