Grateful to be able to post today after skipping yesterday. Ironically, here in TX, the only break I got yesterday was to spend 20 minutes sobbing on the phone to the therapist about stress. So that’s how that’s going!
Grateful to spend some time with my daughter watching old video clips and cracking up. I tried to get her to watch Big with me but she said she didn’t like it. What is wrong with kids these days?!
Grateful it is raining even just a little bit here. Grateful to hear thunder and see lightning even if it did wake me up at 5:30. I woke up wondering why a kid was stomping around the house but then figured it out.
Grateful my cats kind of suck as hunters. Excepting cockroaches and other small insects, the primary target at our house are glints of light from a phone screen and hair ties.
Grateful for today.
grateful for all of you.

Numblady - I'm sorry for the painful time you're going through. You are loved & cared about.
Sunpengwn - I'm so happy the fires are contained.
Zip - Grateful, as always, for you.
Grateful for another lovely sunny day.
Grateful for more furniture delivered (table & chairs - yay, no more tray tables).
Grateful for MrH's good humor & resilience. It's been put to the test.
Grateful to know I will never again let myself down.
Grateful I have no messes to clean up from reckless behavior.
Love going out to all - we will weather this storm.

Numblady, Hev couldn't have said it any better. Prayers, love and support.
Grateful to slowly be doing a little more. Still very tired. So, grateful I can do a little bit and rest.
Grateful I have time to get it together in the morning, for some reason it is the hardest time of day for me and esp when I was drinking.
Grateful I have no desire to drink these days.
Grateful Fearless is exploring other options. I think you'd be great working with nutrition and fitness. You're so knowledgeable. It's always good to have a plan B mulling around in your head. Love and prayers to you and your dad too. I love that you painted him a card.
Rusty, I hope you got your correct equipment and are hopefully feeling better.
Grateful for my mom.
All my love to the wonderful Grat Packers. It makes my day to see you all everyday.

Grateful to read an article about how post traumatic stress can be redefined as post traumatic growth and how we can become more resilient with adversity

Grateful for all your kind words and support. Taking a break yesterday from work helped me a good deal too. But also just..thank you. It really helps to know I have this tribe of supportive sober friends when things get really yucky IRL.
Grateful RZ was able to rest.
Grateful for the Internet because it gives access not only to journalism but also to individual stories we might not otherwise hear.
Grateful for all the fathers and father figures.
Grateful I ended up just watching the rest of Big by myself.
Grateful to go to Target yesterday and pick up a bunch of the junk food I’ve been craving. I am very fortunate that my husband goes to the store on a regular basis but he does not buy nearly enough chips and desserts !
Grateful it rained yesterday.
Grateful to take some time to exercise yesterday and today.
Grateful for this space.
