ClownQueen - Wonderful to see you here - welcome.
RZ - I hope the oxygen makes you feel so much better soon! Very happy you got help.
Sunpen - Prayers continue that the fires will stop progressing.
Grateful, too, for being part of a family that read. Wish I could get MrH interested.
Grateful for bright sun & a cloudless sky, birds making a racket, & deer on the hill nearby.
Grateful that hope springs eternal.

Welcome ClownQueen!

Grateful for RZ’s new doc, for the oxygen he is receiving, and for his indomitable spirit.
Grateful for NC’s sweet words about our little January 2018 recovery class Agree—wouldn’t be here without (and the Grat Pack of course!)
Grateful for Fearless’ kind words and understanding about the stress level right now. Also cracking up that out of all the places to eat Tex-Mex you went to Taco C!! I actually like it too but people are kind of snobby about it around here sometimes.
Grateful Sunpengwn is safe from fires. Prayers going up.
Grateful to talk to my dad for a bit last night. He hasn't been doing great health-wise. Had to have a colostomy bag temporarily for some issues, now has lost so much weight he’s down to what he weighed in high school, and is extremely lethargic. Hoping he gets some answers from the docs this week. He said in a way that is kind of haunting me that he’s kind of at the end of his life expectancy for the family he comes from. I think I’ve mentioned he tends toward the apocalyptic and several of his siblings are still alive. But still. He and his brother, like many of Irish descent, live out the genetic consequences of famine of earlier generations and are diabetic (his brother severely to the point of having had a kidney transplant etc.) and I worry especially during COVID for him.
Grateful I’m going to work out instead of diving right in to work, which is what I have been doing for far too many days (and nights) in a row.
Grateful for the support of this group. Love you all!

Grateful for coffee!
Grateful for a good night's sleep.
Grateful that I was motivated to get some exercise yesterday.
Grateful to live in such a beautiful place.
Grateful our house is large enough to really spread out.
Grateful I ditched a diet that was not working.
Grateful I was able to see some family members yesterday (including their new dog, and especially their little kitten). Also grateful my little nieces and nephew have definitely not forgotten about me during social distancing.
Grateful that I can be of service to my dad and FIL this weekend.
Grateful to be sober, and for everyone here on SR.

Prayers for your dad Numblady. xx

Grateful to be sober today and every day.
Grateful that I and my family are well.
Grateful to go grocery shopping early this morning and there were no queues.
Grateful to eventually get my cats new collar on her without panicking her too much, had to take the bell off as it was freaking her out, but once she's used to the collar I shall re-introduce the bell ( to stop her killing birds etc).
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful that the sun is trying to break through the clouds.
Grateful to be getting used to my new car ( I don't enjoy driving one bit.)
Grateful to be sticking to my healthy eating plan for the most part.
Grateful not to have to go out again today.
Grateful for my friends who live in the computer.
Grateful for the serenity prayer.
Grateful that Rusty has got some answers and a new doctor too.
Grateful ClownQueen16 has joined us and grateful she has a supportive g.friend, it does make a difference. x
Grateful for my friend Mags who checks up on me most days. x
Grateful that Palmersage got to see some family members, it's such a lovely feeling.
Grateful that the fires are almost out for Sunpengwyn.
Grateful to read all the grats and grateful for each and every one of you. xxx

Grateful for coffee, especially good this morning!
Grateful for an unexpected day off today - and the opportunity to talk to my kids about some important issues.
Grateful for virtual tech camps.
Grateful (and nervous) to host my parents and in-laws at our house this weekend - hope everyone stays safe and healthy.
Grateful for mindless TV (to play in the background while I'm working).
Grateful to be exhausted from exercise last night - that hasn't happened in the longest time.
Grateful for the amazing green landscape that surrounds us every day.
Grateful to be sober, and for everyone who keeps SR going.

Like PS, grateful for an unexpected day off too. Grateful company is now recognizing Juneteenth as a holiday and grateful to discuss issues with sonny boy
Numblady, sending good thoughts for your Dad. So hard. Glad you can spend time with him and comfort him
RZ, I hope everything got sorted out!
Daisy, my big cat, Charlie is such a killer. He once bit the head off a baby quail 😞. We have to keep close watch on him when we let him out

Grateful sonny boy created two beautiful hand made cards, one for Mr F and one for Grandpa for Fathers Day
Grateful to be seeing a good friend today for a backyard lunch
Grateful to be over half way through the online wellness course I’m taking. Grateful to be thinking about taking other nutrition, health and wellness courses. It’s a far cry from my corporate job but maybe a change is needed at some point.
Grateful for progress in all sorts of ways
Grateful for each of you. Much love!
