Grateful to be up early this morning.

Grateful to Opi for the new thread.

Grateful that my family and myself are all well.

Grateful to have time to post.

Grateful to receive a postcard yesterday from my daughter's 2 children with a pic of them on the front and a note on the back telling me what they've been up to. Made my day.

Grateful for coffee.

Grateful to see Mags here.

Grateful to have so much to be grateful for.

Grateful for every one of you here. xx

NewChapterJan18 05-06-2020 12:40 AM

Grateful for a new thread.
Grateful to be focusing on the things I can control rather than those which I cannot.
Grateful to be sober.
Grateful for SR and all of you wonderful souls :grouphug:

Grateful for another day sober.

Numblady 05-06-2020 04:16 AM

Grateful for fresh clean thread and for the magical mods who make it happen.

Grateful for very tired sleep.

Grateful for coffee.

Grateful to sometimes not budge.

Grateful for full cupboards.

Grateful to be here with all of you.

PalmerSage 05-06-2020 04:56 AM

Grateful for coffee!
Grateful for improved sleep patterns.
Grateful for colleagues who help me think things through.
Grateful for the technology that enables us to connect.
Grateful for silly TV shows as background noise.
Grateful for beautiful, green views out of my windows.
Grateful to be sober, and for everyone who keeps SR going!

Rusty, I hope you are okDaisy, I loved the image of your pond in the yard. That was a few days ago. I’m catching upÂ
FBL, loved what you said about it not being all about meÂ
Numblady, wow what a dream!Â
Hev, so glad you are back with us.Â
NCJ, buttermash and sneezy, good to see you all too.Â
Grateful for a great night sleep with no middle of the night waking. Grateful that though I forgot to turn the heating pad off, he house did not burn down.Â
Grateful for new resolve today. I am embracing the thought: when the going gets tough, the tough get going.Â
Grateful to think less about my myself and how I can just be productive and helpfulÂ
Grateful that everything passes and changes and we have an opportunity to become stronger and better.Â
Grateful for our friendship and family in the computer (as least says)Â

Fearlessat50 05-06-2020 06:51 AM

Thanks for the new thread, Opi!!

Grateful for a lesson learned in sobriety -- that inaction is sometimes the best action.

Mags1 05-06-2020 09:43 PM

Grateful for inner strength.

FBL 05-07-2020 03:23 AM

Grateful for all of you!

Grateful for another day sober.

PalmerSage 05-07-2020 04:03 AM

Grateful for coffee!
Grateful that I finally weighed myself, and confirmed my worst fears. At least I've defined the problem I need to solve, however horrifying. :scared:
Grateful that the sun is shining.
Grateful that I have a quiet, clean, and spacious home office.
Grateful that I feel motivated to make changes for the better.
Grateful that my work has a laser focus today.
Grateful that I have a job that can be done remotely.
Grateful that I can connect with friends and family through technology.
Grateful that I'll have the chance to be of service to my mom and beloved MIL this weekend.
Grateful to be sober, and for everyone who is keeping SR on track during these crazy times!

Grateful Fearless’ post reminded me I forgot to say I loved FBL’s post yesterday about the ego.Â

Fearless, no clue on how to get rid of the As with the little halos. I just use the Daisy 3-return method.

Grateful I was up early and in time to see the setting of a gorgeous full moon. (Not positive if it’s technically the fully moon but it was big band beautiful and glowing and it’s close enough for me).

Grateful to be starting the process of moving toward the new role (not effective until 6/1).

Grateful for health.Â

Grateful for indoor plumbing, air conditioning, and wireless internet.Â

Grateful for all of you.Â

Fearlessat50 05-07-2020 06:40 AM

Yes, thank you for the thread, Opi and to all the mods for keeping this site going. Don’t know what I’d do without you allÂ

I believe that is true, Courage.Â

Grateful to remember I need to care for myself first.Â

Grateful to start a new family routine in the morning. I am calling it Huddle and Hugs where we gather after breakfast and discuss the daily plan for each of us. Today is huddle and hugs day 53 (number of days we’ve been shelter in place)Â

Grateful to adjust and adapt.Â

Grateful that everything will be ok. I know it.Â

Rusty Zipper 05-07-2020 07:43 AM

grateful for perseverance
