It just started raining so I'm grateful that Billie and I got our long walk in already. Grateful for coffee too. Grateful for Billie's love for me. She's a 'dat' for sure. Maybe cause she lives with 3 cats. She even likes chasing the red dot, just like the cats do.

Grateful for familiar sounds. The sweet muted 'thunk' when Lily jumps down off the dresser. I hear that sound and know exactly what it is.

Fearless - Happy Anniversary to you two! Ribeye Steak - my favorite indulgence.
Grateful that although it's late, I still made it here.
Grateful for a worry-less sleep - a rarity.
Grateful that so far reopening some things is going well. It'll take time to know for sure what the results will be.
Grateful for a discussion with MrH about a healthier diet. We both need to lose 20+ lbs. at least - but keep having setbacks. Like caving when ice cream's on sale.
Grateful for our little family here - you mean so much.

Grateful to be sober.
Grateful that though it's 4.30 a.m, I am up and drinking coffee and not trying to knock myself back out with wine, like I did back in the day. I know coffee isn't good, but still.
Grateful that the birds are having their 'dawn chorus.'
Grateful that the rest of the household are fast asleep.
Grateful for the white roses I bought myself on Saturday, there's no smell to them but they are really pretty.
Grateful for paint pens.
Grateful to read Numblady's post and I am very interested in what she said about the Internet limiting device. I like the sounds of that N.L, let us know how it goes, please.
Grateful Fearless received a heartfelt anniversary card from her husband, how lovely.
Grateful that Hevyn had a worry less sleep, I could do with one of those myself.
Grateful that Aly had a better day.
Grateful for this place to post.
Grateful for each and every one of you. xx

Been aware for some time of the importance of being grateful, but never put that in to practice. Until now. So grateful to be posting here.
Grateful for being sober.
Grateful for a roof over my head.
Grateful to be hearing my son's infectious laughter as he giggles at something that he is clearly finding very amusing.
Grateful to be taking another step forward in life.
And yes, grateful for the coffee!

Grateful to see Abraxas joining the gratitude bandwagon!
Grateful for RZ’s perseverance.
Grateful Daisy isn’t knocking back wine to go back to sleep. Personally I believe coffee has many health benefits. It seems like the science is somewhat mixed but that there is some empirical validation for how I think/feel about it.
Grateful for the Internet limiting device. Seriously i now feel like i have a superpower. Now that I’ve I think got the right devices assigned to the right household members, I can pause either child’s Internet access, or the whole house’s if I feel like it. Mwuhahahahaha! So grateful my therapist recommended. It’s the Circle Home Plus if you want to look into it. Well worth the $129 for a year-long subscription and the device so far. Now to start addressing content and duration...eventually. Need more data points
Grateful For Least’s description of the familiar sounds. Agree. The sound of each cat clomping down the stairs. that’s one of my familiar favorites.
Grateful Mr. NL and I went on quick bike date yesterday. It was hot (literally only) and brief but at least we did something just the two of us! My daughter got super into helping us pick our outfits.
Grateful for working on selection of electives for son at new school.
Grateful to mark on the calendar a slightly arbitrary date by which my job will have shifted or I will have changed. Sorry if I said this already.
Grateful to be here with all of you.

Hi Gratters!

Grateful for having taken the weekend away from both work work and dissertation work (even though I'll pay for the backlog today / this week!). It was my hubby's 40th birthday and given that he's really been going through it the past couple months with the pandemic crushing our business, and that we couldn't have the party he spent ages planning and organising due to restrictions, I tried to plan a really fun day for him within the confines of what's allowable. It involved glitter table cloth, confetti balloons, tacky bunting and a home made afternoon tea set up (just us and his parents), ordering in later in the day and just spending time goofing off yesterday. He seemed really happy and uplifted and it made me so grateful that he could take some joy from the occasion.
Grateful to be trying to exercise a more balanced mindset and to not allow certain work stuff rile me as much.
Grateful to be sober (particularly after watching a show yesterday about the seedy side of partying, alcohol and drugs).
Grateful always for the wonderful grat pack.

Must dash and catch up on aforementioned backlog - love to you all

Grateful for coffee (especially this morning, what a crappy night's sleep - oh wait - back to gratitude).
Grateful to have a fun home project to work on.
Grateful for technology and the internet.
Grateful I completed a task yesterday that's been weighing heavily on me.
Grateful for a new route to walk my dogs.
Grateful I can work from my bed sometimes!
Grateful to be a little more motivated these days, and grateful to be more patient with myself when I'm totally not.
Grateful to be sober, and everyone here on SR!

Grateful for Rusty. Prayers that you are feeling a bit better, dear one.
ROF-Many congrats on your sober time!!!
Grateful for a lovely day after a bit of rain this weekend.
Grateful for my mom and Luke.
Grateful to be working on letting go. Let go and let God. I get so wrapped up in the outcome and sometimes that's not the important part! ♥♥♥
Love and peace to anyone suffering or struggling at all today.

Happy 40th to MrNC! A great age to be. Sounds like you made it fun in spite of everything.
Grateful for the rain because it made me stay inside and do important stuff.
Grateful for the 2nd day of eating sensibly. Will it last?
Grateful MrHev never seems bored with me.
Grateful for the lovely people who gather here each day.
