Rusty ♥ Sounds like you got to play this weekend, so happy for you. Prayers that you are feeling and doing better.
Grateful for the lovely grats on this thread.
Grateful for Rose's comment on dressage. It is incredibly difficult, but so rewarding. The relationship between you and your horse is so close without words (sometimes in training you have to talk to them). It really is a lovely, lovely thing to watch when you see the Olympians. Astounding, really.
Grateful to all of you so very much. Have a wonderful Sunday. It is sunny and quite warm today. Kind of a nice surprise. ♥♥♥

Grateful to be back on the morning thread!
Grateful for Rose 8 months and Sunp’s 34 years!
Numblady, I am so glad to hear your kitty is back home. Wow, must have been an expensive vet bill! I would have done the same. My son is so attached to our cats!
By the way, Numblady, I also thought of your Dad and hope he is doing ok. I don’t know if it’s typical old age forgetfulness or Dementia. Either way, it’s hard to see our once strong Dads struggle with aging. I can relate
Grateful for CK’s sweet video. I thought of you on my vacation in Whistler
Grateful sonny boy is feeling better. Got back from vacation late Friday and he woke up with the flu 😷. He may still miss school tomorrow since he still has a temp, but he’s on the mend for sure, and hopefully he’ll still be ready to go on the four day school field trip these kids have been excited about and preparing for all year
Grateful Mr F took sonny boy to do some shopping and errands so I can work on packing for TX trip to see my dad. Luckily, most of my stuff is already packed from having just returned from vacation.
Grateful to be back here in this familiar and loving place with you all

Fearless ♥♥♥ Best of luck with your trip down to your dad. You have a lot going on, so be sure to take care of you too. Love and prayers to you and Sonny, hope he's better soon. Fearless, I don't know how you do so many things so well!!

Grateful for 46 F and sunny so I could take Billie for a long walk. She is my best friend and my constant companion and I am grateful God let me keep her with me when he took Jack to be with him.

Numblady - That porch swing talk must have warmed your heart.
Fearless - We missed you. Sorry to hear your son's been sick. Where are they going on the field trip?
Least - I'm grateful you have Billie to love & care for. You both lucked out.
Grateful for bright sun & warming temps.
Grateful for longer days. No longer dark at 5pm.
Grateful it's not a Sunday from back in the day - with dreaded Monday looming - & all the misery it once brought us.
Grateful to know we'll gather here again tomorrow.

Grateful to read all your stories and experiences of the day.
Grateful for SR, the internet and my iPad. Which makes getting together possible.
Grateful for bathrooms....I remember having to run down the yard at my nannans, as a kid, to use the outside toilet.

G.morning Gratters, I'm just sat in a cold, draughty train carriage on my way to the dental hosp for round 3 of my treatment.
Son is home now and recovering well so hopefully I can get back into a routine now. I've missed posting here.
Grateful to have no hangover or guilt.
Grateful to be getting my teeth sorted, it's a heck of a trek but hopefully it will all be worth it.
Grateful to have a stew doing its thing in the slow cooker for dinner later.
Grateful to be able to pass the time on my journey by posting here.
Grateful that the rain has stopped for now.
Grateful to all of you for your ongoing support.
💚🖤❤️💜💜💛♥️

So grateful to see Daisy and to hear son is back home. Missed your posts and I can also relate to missing the routine of posting here. Which I honestly shouldn’t be doing given all I’ve got to do to make my 630 a.m. departure from home but oh well!
Also grateful to see Fearless back from vacay. Fingers crossed for son to be able to go on field trip. And my dad doesn’t have a formal diagnosis of dementia. but also they just did the appointments to get the baseline and will recheck later this spring. He is in mild cognitive decline so far but it is very unnerving to see even that. What’s weirder now is he has started being receptive to help and instructions. It is sad to be sure but hopefully he’ll keep up his exercise and eat better.
Grateful for a successful weekend and to be back home for the next round of madness with work.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful to hear about horses and dressage. I don’t even know what it is but what a cool word! Let alone an activity.
Grateful I’ve grown up spoiled and not ever had to run down to an outdoor toilet except when camping.
Grateful I’m not making my life harder than it already is by boozing it up.
Grateful for the pack.

Thank you, Aly. Too much running around catches up eventually. At the moment I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this week! When I planned the ski trip months ago, I didn’t know my son’s field trip would be scheduled the very next week, nor did I know what my Dad’s situation would be. Sonny boy is now better and will be going on the field trip. But Mr F and I are now sick. I do not feel sick enough to cancel my plans to visit my dad though. No fever yet. Up at 2:30 and here I am at the airport 😜 😝. I don’t mean for any of this to sound like a complaint. I am switching over to gratitude. I am grateful I can go see my Dad and not take time off work. Perhaps I should have with everything going on and maybe I’ll take off the last couple days this week. Not sure yet. Grateful I can go with the flow. Grateful for adaptability. Grateful for Wifi, my laptop and phone to handle things from anywhere. Grateful for cough drops and cold medicine, for fresh water too
Aly, I love the visuals of dressage! Also, I hope you are better with the medication stuff!
Grateful for a supportive boss and work team
Grateful to recognize that sometimes Mr F is grouchy because he is stressed and/or doesn’t feel well and to give him space. Grateful this trip will probably be a good time apart 😊
Grateful that I am sober. No way I could manage my life if I was still drinking
Hev, sonny boy’s field trip is an outdoor ed camp at a ranch in west Marin county. He’s all packed and ready to go! His first time away for more than three nights.
Numblady, positive thoughts for your dad’s journey. He is lucky to have you for a daughter
Daisy, glad to see you back on morning thread. I know you still have a lot going on!
Least, glad you have Billie. I know you’ve got a lot going on too!
Grateful for the passage of time
There’s other things I wanted to say but forgot the rest 😊
Grateful so much for each of you!

Daisy - Hoping dental appointment went well - one step closer to having it over with.
Numblady - I'm glad your dad isn't opposed to help - that's often a problem.
Fearless - I hope you & MrF feel better. Love it that Sonny is already packed. I googled Marin County - it looks gorgeous.
Grateful for another day of sunshine.
Grateful MrH is taking care of himself & going to the gym. I'm not.
Grateful I got sensible & gave away a bunch of clothes to the thrift store. I mean, I'll never be a size 6 again. Some of the things were hopelessly out of style.
Grateful for sleep 3 nights in a row with no wake ups.
Grateful for my treasured sobriety.
Love you all.
