Grateful to come home, tune up the guitar and play away, enjoy some of my wife's delicious taco soup, and have a warm fire and a movie together. Grateful to feel refreshed for a few days.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Grateful I am strong enough to give a man whose not treating me the way I want the big old boot! It's too bad, but I'll live.
Grateful that tomorrow can't get here fast enough. I have a memorial to go to.

Grateful to be sober tonight.
Grateful to have no desire to drink alcohol
Grateful to meet an old friend who I haven't seen for a long time, for coffee, we used to drink together many years ago and I was somewhat sceptical about meeting her. All went well though she is still a big drinker. I won't be socialising with her regularly, but I can compromise and do coffee once in a blue moon. It was good to catch up but I don't envy her drinking life style one bit.
Grateful that the other nan did the school pick up and dropped my grandson off to me.
Grateful to take my g.son to karate this evening and grateful my mum came to watch.
Grateful to just remember now that he needs his violin for school tomorrow.
Grateful for warm clothes and a warm house.
Grateful Astro has an extra day off, happy hunting.
Grateful for each and every one of you. xxx

(((Aly))) Ann says that the difference between a bad day and a good day is about two days.

Grateful to watch Billie playing with the old purse I gave her. She really has fun with it. She's very exuberant.

Grateful to be back on bedtime thread. Where did the time go!?
Grateful to see Lucinda
Aly, so glad you stood up for yourself. You deserve so much better! I’m sorry you had a bad day. I hope tomorrow is better. This too shall pass
Daisy, glad you are keeping boundaries with your drinking friend. I still have some of those too and it can be tough
Astro, glad you seem better
Least, love the vision of Billie and the purse. My little Daisy has been making me laugh lately. I got a weighted blanket and she is so intrigued with the glass bead filling and jumps all over it. U fortunately, I can’t sleep with it now because she would do that all night. So it’s now my cozy couch blanket.
Grateful to find an awesome deal on some discount furniture for my time. He had to give up the loaner furniture that was used to furnish the display apartment when he moved in. The new stuff is being delivered and set up for him.
Grateful to be in a position to help my dad even though it’s remote.
Grateful for my son really getting back into legos instead of technology. Except his room looks like a tornado hit it. Lol
Grateful to find some really nice looking outdoor lanterns and house numbers. Ours are looking pretty rusty, cracked and outdated
Grateful for our friendship here

I do keep a gratitude/laws of attraction journal and I could not believe it that I filled a full notebook in 2019.
Anyway, I am very grateful that I decided to quit drinking 7 years ago today and that I found SR and made some great friends (even if I am not really active these days).

Grateful to wake up to a fresh, cold rainshower and a warm home. Grateful for precious time with my wife and stepdaughter yesterday, and some time alone too.

(((Aly))) I'm sorry you're not so good at the moment. Please take good care of yourself, this too shall pass, you will be okay and you have us. xxx

Grateful for another sober bedtime.
Grateful to take my mum on a shopping trip today and have lunch with her, we said we will do this on a monthly basis. I usually just give her a lift to town as I don't like shopping and she does her own thing. Sometimes you just have to make an effort.
Grateful to buy a new rug for my living room, it looks good, I need some cushions now to match.
Grateful to stick to my boundaries with my son today when he was trying to have me running back and to after him, it didn't happen.
Grateful for a relaxing bath.
Grateful for a warm house.
Grateful to see Fearless back here, time just flies and I'm sure like me, you could do with some more hours in your days. It's so good that your son is getting back into Lego, there is nothing quite like Lego, just can't beat it and it is so refreshing to see them doing something other than techno stuff.
Grateful to see Carlotta here and to read her inspiring post about having 7 years sober. That is fabulous and I hope to be in that place one day. Many congratulations to you Carlotta xx
Grateful Astro found a little time for himself.
Grateful for this thread.
Grateful for all of you. xxx
