I am grateful I saw the "storm before it hit."
I am grateful to have a daughter and son-in-law, who truly care; I respect them, give them space, and won't take advantage of their kindness.
I am so very grateful to be getting back to work, to be regaining ability to be productive and to feel confident I will care for my needs.

Grateful RZ got to play with Kaos band
Grateful for Aly and her efforts with Arf to adopt the pitties
NCJ, I forgot to tell you the book is Worry, Hope and Help for a common condition
Numblady, love the hover board story. Also, I have a million books on ADHD, sensory processing disorder and Aspergers, and raising difficult children. They all had good suggestions. Ultimately, we turned to both medication and therapy. I don’t have any regrets about it. My son is such a different person now. I can’t remember the last time I worried that he might become an ax murderer. Lol. Not. I admire your grace and humor with your kids. Good luck with the outing with your daughter and her friends.
Grateful for coffee and the special way my husband makes it
Grateful to be up early and getting ready to go for a run
Grateful for all the little things in life
Grateful to reflect on how my code of conduct helps me in life
Grateful for serenity prayer and sick man prayer
Grateful for each of you

Grateful to wake up sober.
Grateful to still be under my down cover reading some posts. Feeling better, but still tired when I try to do much. It's cold but clear out.
Grateful for so many blessings.
Grateful most of all for you, here. Love and peace.

Grateful for Carpathia's post. Hello.
Numb - I hope it goes well with you & the little dears. Such a brave woman.
Mags - Yes, no more planning our day around our master, alcohol. I did just that for decades - not sure how I justified it.
Aly - Grateful you're better but still being cautious.
Grateful MrH helped find a lost pup after 2 days missing. (Terrified & freezing)
Grateful that although we lose faith in others at times, most people are kind & helpful when given the chance.
Grateful for our meetings here each day.

Grateful for a hangover free Sunday morning.
Grateful to help my step g.daughter by having her 5 month old baby for the night ( and the night before) whilst she is having a personal crisis, if you have any spare prayers please say one for her), thankfully he is the most placid baby.
Grateful baby Ralphie is fast asleep right now and I've got time to quickly catch up on a few posts.

Grateful Aly is feeling better. But I’m sorry about your friend hurting your feelings
Saying a prayer for your s.granddaughter, Daisy. Grateful that your grandchildren and great g.children have you
Hev, so glad Mr H found the lost pup. Stories like that make me cry
Grateful for Neal Piert. Mr F has been listening to Rush all weekend in his honor
Grateful that the nightmare was only a dream. I dreamt I was in TX visiting my Dad, ended up at a Target store there, was supposed to get supplies for him and ended up shopping for myself then somehow I lost my purse with my drivers license and wallet and phone and ended up not being able to get home or even get in touch with my Dad. Somehow I ended up at a home of one of the Bravo TV Housewives. Brandi Glanville, Bethenny Frankel and the countess were all sitting on a bed and drinking champagne and trying to get me to drink. I refused. I begged them to get me back to Target to find my stuff. I don’t remember anything after that. So bizarre!
Grateful I am not sore from my long run yesterday. The week before resulted in some ankle pain but it’s gone away
Grateful that despite all the injustices in the world, there are always people doing the right thing
Grateful sonny boy has a play date today
Grateful to spend some time with Mr F
Grateful for each of you and our sober journey together.

Welcome back Carpathia. Glad to see you.
Grateful for central heat and air! It's been cold and a little rainy off and on this week.
Grateful to be feeling better although still don't have a lot of ambition.
Grateful for Rusty's sober open mic night. Sounds fun.
Grateful for those who lift us up.
Prayers going up already for your daughter, Daisy. You take care of yourself too.
Fearless, dreams are so interesting and that one was. I wish I was one of those people who knew what they meant. Sounds a bit like your subconscious may be feeling a little overwhelmed.
Grateful for every single post and love the grats today. Peace and love.

Well - it's far from morning, but I just got internet back.

Fearless - That was one wacky adventure you went on.
Aly - I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Energy will return.
Grateful we had spring like weather for a few days. Winter returneth though.
Grateful for 2 nights in a row of not waking up at 3am.
Grateful to finally be able to look at old photos and smile, not cry.
Grateful it's not a Sunday of old.

Grateful to get the chance to log back in with the Grat pack. Didn't care for last week too much, or the weekend! Both too busy, but not in a social way, mostly with had to be done chores.
Hi Carpathia. Nice to meet you.
Rusty - so much music! Bet you enjoyed that. Really pleased for you.
Aly - glad you're feeling a bit better. Little by little, day by day. Take it gently.
Ananya - good luck on getting back to work. You sound very calm and peaceful.
Daisy - I hope whatever crisis your stepdaughter is facing gets resolved quickly, and in the meantime I hope Ralphie provides some joy.
NL - I loved the hover board story too. And I can't imagine anything much better for your kids than having a 'very tired, highly imperfect but loving, sober parent'.
Fearless - I've had a few strange dreams in my time but you are way ahead of me! Although that situation at your dad's house had the potential to be a real nightmare and through such a simple error. Definitely a catastrophe averted.
NewChapter - Well done on the weight loss. Good way to start the new year. I'm mostly a reader of novels. Just finished The Dutch House by Ann Patchett and Olive, Again by Elizabeth Strout. I was impressed with both of them. We (my sisters and I) hit on the idea of books as Christmas presents a couple of years ago, Hev. We're all of an age where we don't need presents frankly but we do all read and have quite similar tastes so we now do a list each year and choose from that - and then share the books afterwards. I still think a Kindle can't be beaten for travelling etc but it is nice to hold an actual book again now and again!
Mags, with you on huge gratitude for sobriety and coffee, and definitely in that order.

Grateful it's a lateish start for me this morning. Bit of time for reflection.
Thankful to have got some really boring house stuff/life admin done last week.
Grateful to have a theatre trip to look forward to this evening, first of the new year.
Grateful to have recently passed the 200 days marker, of sobriety, that is. I can still clearly remember when 10 days felt like a real achievement. Now for 300!
Grateful to be touching base with all of you.

Grateful to have had lots of horse time this weekend and still get my college work done.
Grateful to be sober.
Grateful for all of you wonderful souls! 💜

P.S. Fearless, thanks for sharing the name of the book! I hope you’re finding it interesting/helpful. I know I’m a fierce worrier at the best of times and it’s no fun at all.
