Grateful for all of you and your supportive words. The meeting went as well as it could have and my boss was very complimentary.
Grateful to have slept soundly until a thunderstorm started. Grateful it was only 30 minutes before my alarm was already going to go off (at 415).
Grateful you all will hopefully forgive me as I had several things I wanted to say reading through posts, which I have now completely forgotten.
Grateful for my daughter’s hilarious imperiousness. The night before last she basically flung her arm like some kind of put-upon monarch and proclaimed, “you’re a terrible maid!” I should be mad but it just completely cracks me up.
Grateful for car pools and parents supporting one another.
Grateful to be here.
Oh I remembered one! Hev, grateful today is national plan your vacation day so you are basically right on time. Also grateful I know this because my daughter is really into keeping a calendar. She likes to keep us posted on days of note; it’s very cute.
Grateful for another chance (or really an unbroken series of chances) to be a kind and helpful person today.

Fearless - I may take unnecessary supplements too - there's so much disagreement about what actually helps.
Numblady - Good to hear the meeting was ok.
4:15 alarm - whoa, that is early Numb.
I must get planning that vaca, since it's officially the day to do it.
Mags - Yes, the normal every day things - such a blessing.
Aly - Did you & Luke get to take your walk?
Deserto - I'm happy you & Henry got out & about. Good boooys.....
Grateful that when I woke up I said a prayer - Please give me courage, determination, and willpower. Threw the willpower in because I decided to weigh myself for the first time since the holidays. Only a little damage was done, surprisingly.
Grateful MrH has returned to the gym.
Grateful to be getting rid of superfluous stuff I've held on to for years.
Grateful to be in your most excellent company.

Courage, that is wonderful. I'm very happy for you. Those chances don't always come around. ♥♥♥
Grateful NL got through her meeting with some compliments even!
Grateful Luke and I did get a walk in, only the weather turned overcast and kind of yucky. They say rain is coming, I hope not tomorrow. I have a friend who has a long commute tomorrow for a meeting and lunch with me. Prayers for her to have safe and stress free driving, even in the rain!!! ♥♥♥
Grateful for my class last night and that I believe, that ARF's Doggie's Day Out is a great program. At 10, Luke is pretty mellow, but still a big, beautiful German Shepherd who protects his home. So we'll see. The manager of the fosters, said that if I had one I wanted to take home, she'd help me see, at the shelter, if Luke and said dog get along.
Grateful I'm waiting for the class I need for Mobile Adoptions. I love the woman who manages it and she said I could go out with her on the adoptions. I'm still going to do laundry, I think. There is something about it that feels good. To know the animals will start the day with clean and fresh things. And it's good exercise, but I have to really use my legs and not my back. I feel it the next day!
Grateful for ARF and the fun I have helping out.
Grateful, of course for all of you. Love and peace to anyone struggling or suffering today. ♥♥♥

Grateful to be logging back on here. Feels like it's been a little while. One of my brothers has been visiting London and so it's been busy, plus I needed to process some of our conversations about our memories of childhood. Thought provoking, not necessarily comfortable, probably a good thing to have discussed?. To be honest, I'm still pondering on that one.

Fearless - I am so impressed with your stellar health results. What a testimony to what we are all doing here. And I'm glad to know what you've told us about aspartame. I shall definitely watch that.
NC - I liked what you said "grateful to be acting brave" even if you don't feel it. That is such a good attitude and I admire it. We all think you're brave anyway..
Hev - for all we know, Cinders could have had 20 lbs she wanted to drop! I'm going to assume she did. My shoe size is the same as yours btw but I'm not exactly slender footed. More kind of short and fat footed. Some things can't be changed...
Aly - I am so glad you're feeling a bit on the up emotionally. Now we all need a touch of spring weather to consolidate that feeling.
Daisy - the hidden wine bottle syndrome. Your post reminded me of that. I need say no more, I feel.
FBL - congratulations on dropping down a shirt size. That is such a nice feeling.
NL - I've been in the situation of being sober when my husband is not. And whilst I of all people should be sympathetic to those who have overdone it, I'm not. Just embarrassed.
Buttermarsh - when your husband gets fed up of cooking for you, send him my way please!
NL - just think how your son's comment had ended up bringing us all up to speed on Kim Jong Un's marital (predictable?) status. I have a friend who visited South Korea and her trip included an escorted day trip to North Korea. Which she said felt like it was everything you imagined. And I'm glad your not much looked forward to meeting went as well as it could
Rusty - I shall adapt my spagbol now to include ground pork and cream. I will report back on the results. Hope you are still feeling a bit more chipper, even after you've done your state tax return .
Ananya, glad your mum has what sounds like excellent care. Such a relief for you and her.
Mags, hope your asthma is manageable.
I agree with Aly, Courage. I honestly think mending fences should be seen as an opportunity to be grabbed, something I realised quite late in life.

You know what I am about to say! Grateful the toddler swimming session is over for this week.
Grateful that what I thought was the start of something a bit more serious appears to be only a bad cold. Phew. I was dreading bronchitis.
Thankful the visit from my brother went well. We were estranged for a long time. That's what happens when you delay mending fences I guess. We went to dinner last night and then the theatre. Saw Girl from the North Country. Excellent, though sad and wonderful for anyone who is a Bob Dylan fan.
Grateful for all of you. I am irritated with myself for not finding the time to post more frequently at the moment but it does have the bonus of meaning I get to read a jumbo set of posts.

Rose, I’m so glad to hear the visit went well, albeit that it kept you so busy. It sounds like the kind of thing you would very much regret not doing even if uncomfortable for a while as you process.
Mags, love what you said about the sanity of SR.
NC, Hev, FBL and anyone else embarking/continuing on a campaign of healthy living, way to go!

Grateful for people who are emotionally intuitive and know just what to say. I am not one of those people but I like to surround myself with them and try to learn from them.
Grateful to have actually cooked last night. My kids even thanked me and asked if we can have Teriyaki Tuesday every week.
Grateful for the simple joy of using stuff up that has been sitting around the kitchen for too long.
Grateful for probiotics.
Grateful to be doing our intake appointment for my daughter’s counseling today.
Grateful for days I start with a prayer even if I don’t know to what or whom i am making application.
Grateful to be here in, as I think Hev put it, your most excellent company.

Grateful to see Rose. Glad you saw your brother and are sorting some things out re your childhood. Thank you for the reminder about what I said about the aspartame. I shall not be ordering a Diet Coke today for lunch!

Numblady, good luck with your daughters counseling. Teriyaki Tuesday! Love it. I am lucky if I can get my son to try the creative tacos on taco Tuesday so I’ll stick to that for now. Wondering what we will do tonight for dinner. The boys like hotdogs. Maybe Weanie Wednesday!
Grateful to have slept a little better last night
Grateful sonny boy showed me a funny YouTube video of Globglogabgalab, then he went around the house imitating him. I have never heard of this character and I laughed so hard. Grateful he loves books
Grateful to go back through my Kindle library and plan rereading so,e books I never finished, including Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. I’m especially interested lately in where all of our food comes from and sustainable living
