Grateful to hear Rusty’s treatments are working.

I am a cancer survivor; you will be one, too.

Thank you, dear Opi.
Trying to catch up with everyone - miss a day & we miss many grats! Everything you say is important to me.
Zip - Again, I'm so very thankful for your good news.
Pouncer - grateful you survived that ordeal.
Deserto - Contentment is the new wild & crazy? Very happy to hear of your nice time with new lady - I was wondering what was going on.
Grateful for the colorful leaves still hanging on - & bright sun to illuminate them.
Grateful to begin an exercise program - been talking about it for a long time. Nothing too strenuous though.
Grateful to have repaired the relationships that were on shaky ground when I drank.
Grateful that I don't feel as old as I thought I would at this age.
Grateful to know that no matter what goes on in the world, SR and Morning Grats will always be here.

Mags, I love hedgehogs. They are adorable.
Hev, go girl! Gosh, I am going to have to do the same, just ramping up my walks would help a lot! I really admire your success in fighting probably one of my hardest battles. I thought it was hard when I was younger, but, yes, it gets harder to lose as you get older. You are doing great. So proud of my darling one.
Grateful to be getting my flu shot today.
My "THANKS" button doesn't seem to be working very well. So if I missed thanking anyone, my apologies. I tried! ♥
Grateful for all of you so much. Feeling a little low today so absolutely grateful for this thread. Love to all. ♥♥♥

Thanks, Opi!
Just checking in quick. Busy morning. Discovered shattered window in the living room. Landscaper accepted responsibility since a rock was ejected from the lawnmower and hit it yesterday. Grateful he took responsibility, grateful it’s not worse, grateful for a helpful contractor and glass company.
I’ll catch up on reading all your posts later. Love you all and have a grateful day!

Thanks for the new thread, Opi!

Grateful for all of the mods here at SR. I'm a mod in a FB group, so I know what a thankless task it can be at times.

Grateful that my co-worker/friend got done with his heart tests yesterday. Hoping that they can now give him the proper treatment.

Grateful for another day sober.

Welcome and congrats LostLily!
Daisy, your daughter’s friend’s situation sounds very challenging. Makes me even more grateful for my health.

Grateful for thoughtful people. In particular, grateful that some members of my team did something that made someone who needed it feel loved.
Grateful for my work family and to be able to laugh off some of the absurdity together.
Grateful November can’t last forever (it’s going to be brutal at work).
Grateful for a delicious and much needed coffee yesterday.
Grateful my daughter now has her own little morning routine she created.
Grateful my sitter couldn’t come tonight. It felt too hectic to go out tonight after being away from my kids 2 nights in a row (and going out again on Friday because some good friends are getting married).
Grateful for restful sleep.
Grateful for this group and all new and old members.

Grateful my kids have a half day today.
Grateful for some quiet time with a big mug of hibiscus tea.
Grateful my oldest so has a new phone, it's been rough with him not having one the past week and a half.
Grateful for everything my hubby does for our family.
Grateful for a little one's bday in our family.
Grateful for my morning devotion.

Thank you for the new thread, Opi!

Unfortunately I am pressed for time today, but know that I've read and I am grateful for each and everyone one of you and your uplifting grat posts!

Grateful to have won the battle with my binge thoughts last night and being down another pound this morning - felt like a reward for staying strong and not giving into the negative thoughts with negative behaviour.
Grateful to be managing my workload and professional challenges with as much grace and strength as I can muster.
Grateful to be sober, always.
Grateful for some sweet moments with my horse last night.

Take care, lovely grats.

Thank you Opi for the new thread.

Good afternoon (late check in for me) Grat pack chums, old and new.

Lilly - So very well done on 10 months. That's definitely no mere bagatelle. I hope you're feeling a bit more upbeat today. Hate it when depression strikes. Know it will go and hopefully sooner rather thanlater.

Daisy - that is such devastating news about your daughter's friend, the more so because she is so young. Let's hope her little girls, just by their very presence, can work their own special magic to speed her recovery.

Hev/Aly - I've ramped up my walks this last couple of weeks. Given that walking is the one exercise I really enjoy I felt it was the way to go. To be clear, the ramping up just means I've gone from strolling to a kind-of brisk walking.

Numblady - same thoughts as you on November (and February come to that). Hope ,you're right that it can't last forever. I suppose it just feels like it does!

Citrus - happy bday to the little one in your family!

NewChapter - a pound down and a binge dealt with. Very well done. That's the way to do it.

Pouncer - So glad you survived. My husband did too. I am so grateful to be able to say I know many people who have survived cancer.

And on the subject of health, fingers crossed for your co-worker, FBL.

Grateful to have been able to do a bit of ramped up walking, both today and yesterday. Totally rubbish weather here, especially today, which is just non-stop heavy rain so I had to get myself motivated..
Thankful to have the time to do a few nice things, including visiting the Anthony Gormley exhibition at the Royal Academy and going to the theatre this evening. Don't know if Anthony Gormley is known much outside the UK but he's famous here for doing statues of large cast iron standing men, including 100 of them who are located on beach in Merseyside facing the sea. Very striking, as was the exhibition.
Thankful to have had only one pastry over the last two days. That's a breakthrough for me! Shame the weekend is about to arrive when I'm sure it'll be a different story.

Until tomorrow.

Mags, I always put epsom salt in my bath too! Good luck with your appointment
Deserto, thanks for the update. I’ve been married over twenty years and it’s more wild and crazy than ever. Lol. Slight exaggeration
Hev, I can relate to the comment on getting older. In my early fifties and I feel and sometimes even think I look better than I was in my twenties. I’m definitely more in shape. I also feel so much better about myself inside. Of course, much of that is due to no longer drinking
Lily, good to see you here. Congrats!
Citrus, congrats on ten days!
FBL, grateful for all you do in the recovery community here and elsewhere
Aly, I hope your mood lifts
NCJ, me too on the work challenges
Grateful for everyone else here who I am thinking of

Grateful for firefighters
Grateful it’s Thursday and taking tomorrow off for a school fundraiser
