Grateful to start my new year with a new adventure. Leaving in a few hours to Mexico. I'll post here if I can, but please don't mind it if I miss days now and then.

Daisy, thanks for setting me straight. I really messed up my sober days. In Jan, I'll be 23+ months sober! Daisy is always like a little less than 2 months behind me! Wow. ODAAT.
Grateful for the sun shining. Grateful Luke calmed down after having a midnight fit at all the New Year noise.
Grateful to be sober and with no hangover on New Years Day.
Grateful to be with you all on this journey. Happy New Year!

Roaring Twenties - here we come! Sober, clear-eyed & ready for whatever you throw at us.
I have visitors & must appear interested in what they're saying. I did, however, read every post & loved the comments & observations. I appreciate you all so much.

Grateful that two years ago today I felt really bad and I took a day off of drinking. And then another one, until I set my sights on a month without alcohol...then eventually found this place. So deeply grateful. I never would have really believed a booze free life was possible and enjoyable without the support and inspiration I have found here and continue to find here each day.
Grateful that my kids are sleeping in like Daisy’s G.son and hopefully catching up (daughter claimed she stayed up until 345 am at her friend’s house NYE!!).
Grateful I got credit for Fearless’ brisket and potatoes. . I did make my famous black eyed peas dish yesterday. It is one of the few/only culinary endeavors for which I am known. I am not even sure all the guests like us. I think some of them just come for the peas .
Grateful for a night of restful sleep.
Grateful Courage is going to Mexico. Be safe and have fun. Can’t wait to hear how it goes/went.
Grateful to be taking my time to roll into work kind of late and roll out kind of early — for a massage and a pedicure to celebrate the two year mark.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for each one of you.

Grateful for Numblady's huge two year achievement! Black eyed peas dish sounds good. That is something I haven’t tried
Grateful for Aly and Daisy’s sober milestones coming up!
Grateful to discover NCJ also enjoys running
Grateful for RZ’s last chemo!
Grateful to have slept in until almost 7 am. That is so unheard of for me. I usually wake up at 4:30-5 during the week and around 6 on the weekends. Really wondering if these blue light blocking glasses are partly to credit. Since I got them, I’ve been sleeping better
Grateful to reflect on my long run yesterday, how good I feel today (despite being a little sore, it’s a good soreness and emotionally I feel amazing), how creative and inspired my thoughts are when running
Grateful that when sonny boy accidentally knocked over paint water on the Art/office room floor, I had protective cover on it and the little bit that got on the carpet came out with resolve. Grateful also for the stain pad we purchased with this carpet years ago. Grateful the art project I was working on was salvageable. I just repainted over the damage and made the sunset brighter .
Grateful to watch the last episode of Lost in Space S1 and get ready to start S2 tonight.
Grateful for left overs
Grateful for just one work conference call today and spending rest of day cleaning up and working on my Dad’s mortgage stuff. Grateful the head nurse is listening to my Dads feelings and wishes about where he is now and next phase
Grateful to get sonny boys birthday party invitation done
Grateful for each of you ❤️😊

Cour, have a great time, beaches and warmth! I love that you're practicing your spanish!
NL, Huge congrats on your soberversary!!!
Grateful to get a blood test over with later today. My thyroid. I always expect it to be lower, because of my fatigue, but it usually isn't. Everyone in my family has low thyroid, even my eldest nephew, which is really unusual for a young boy. My sister had thyroid cancer, but she's fine now. She struggles with her levels. She was always so thin and she's put some weight on. Ugh. The things we have to deal with. Grateful for my blessings and I can live with the small inconveniences.
Grateful it looks like a nice day. Well it's cold now, but the sun is out, so it should warm up.
Feeling especially grateful for the Grat Pack today. Love and peace to all of you! ♥♥♥
