Hevyn, a good cup of tea puts the world to rights.
Grateful to be hangover and guilt free this morning.
Grateful my Internet is back up to speed, it was running so slowly yesterday I gave up posting as a bad job.
Grateful for a not too bad nights sleep.
Grateful I have no school runs to do this week, though I am on Nana duties.
Grateful the other grandmother, my bestie, has got the g.kiddo's today.
Grateful to give my mum a lift into town.
Grateful to get my Halloween pebbles varnished.
Grateful that though it's very cold, it's dry and sunny.
Grateful for central heating and warm clothes..
Grateful I've not done any binge eating this last few days,, I've eaten healthily.
Grateful N.L survived the temptation of the toxic alcohol at the recent wedding. Proud of you N.L.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful to watch my little cat playing.
Grateful Deserto got his 18 months chip, well done D, proud of you too.
Grateful Fearless managed to check in, thinking about you, stay safe lovely. x
Grateful to see you all here posting, my favourite kind of people.
Grateful to each and every one of you for helping me along on this journey. xx

I am typing on my phone so forgive me if I am posting in the wrong section. Not used to this. Grateful to be able to check in on my phone. For some strange but good reason, I can get internet on my phone even though still no power. Grateful to head to the next county last night to see friends, go to dinner and borrow their power to charge up (literally and figuratively lol). Grateful sonny boy is at a sleep over there and for friend watching him since schools still closed and I’ve got to try to work. Grateful to be heading to a shared work space with WiFi next county Grateful to just accept being in the dark not having any answers as to when power will be restored. Grateful no burning embers have blown into my area. Praying for anyone in Ca struggling with these fires and outages. Grateful this too shall pass. Grateful for my sobriety. Grateful for each of you and I will go back and read posts when I have a chance. Congrats Deserto!!

Hevyn, youtube made it easy to learn. Bit then again I had been dying to learn how to knit for many years before I started and was pretty stubborn and persistent in learning!!
Glad you found new glasses.

Deserto way to go on 18 months! That is fantastic. I hope you are doing something nice for yourself today.

Fearless and Aly you are in my thoughts and prayers as well as anyone else affected by the fires. I cannot even imagine the stress from that.

Grateful for the Grat Pack. ❤
Grateful I can be a little lazy today. Not feeling 100%.
Grateful for the heating pad on my feet.
Grateful this is a short school week.
Grateful for a great house heater, my body is not quite loving the transition from upper 60's to mid 30's.
Grateful for 2 full weeks sober.

Couldn't post yesterday because it was one of those days with a very early start and a very late finish (signalling the return of granddaughter and family!). Grateful they're safely back. Taking the chance of a few minutes off to post now

Fearless and Aly - what a dreadful, scary time for you and others in Ca. Grateful you seem to be getting some sterling help to survive it. As you say, Fearless, this too shall pass but it definitely behaves us all to remember how lucky, privileged in fact, to have access to modern conveniences.

Deserto, a year and a half! I would love to be able to say that and one day I will.

Rusty, given its Wednesday I hope all went well with the chemo today. And nice to have a good chum to go with you.

Numblady, I would happily have pushed you aside for that sad Snickers bar! I think I can safely say I'm making slow progress on my sugar reform plans.

Grateful for another sunny and beautiful autumn day even if it is quite cold. The teees and leaves are at that stage of looking really wonderful.
Grateful my granddaughter has found a new favourite pastime of walking, running, kicking through, dissecting and generally studying all the fallen leaves. It takes us a very, very long time now to get anywhere but luckily enough we have all the time in the world.
And grateful especially that mylife of sobriety does seem, increasingly, to be becoming the new normal as each day goes by.

Grateful for all the kind thoughts coming my way. Love back to all of you.
Rusty you are in my prayers. Hoping you are feeling as well as can be expected after your chemo, darling one.
It's weird how all this fire/power off stuff here is extremely stressful. I hope we move past all this unwanted drama very soon. Prayers for those in danger. I have my ARF thrift store shift this morning. I'm kind of glad to be feeling better and to do something that gets my mind off all of this.
Fearless, special prayer for you. Thank you for getting in touch.
Grateful so much for all of you. Love and safety. ♥♥♥

Zip - Grateful for your wonderful attitude. Hope it goes ok.
Aly - I'm glad you're feeling better. Heartbreaking news footage - praying it comes to an end soon.
Grateful for one more warm day - winter's knocking on the door.
Grateful I can see again.
Grateful for the realization that I'm not always right. (Despite my good intentions.) Who knew?
Grateful I can always come here to take my mind off things & share in other's lives from all over the world.

Hev, I'm going around with the worse glasses I've ever had. Then I found them in Luke's bed looking a little bent. They were SO expensive.
I really need to get a new pair, esp lenses that I can actually see out of. I'm happy our Hevyn can see and I'm hoping to follow her shortly!♥♥♥
