I'm grateful to Opi for starting the new part.

I am really grateful to read a story in my local paper about a young newlywed couple. For their wedding gifts, they asked their guests to donate money, food, and supplies to the local Humane Society. They got huge donations of food and cleaning supplies, dog and cat treats, leashes and collars, etc, and $2,000 to the emergency medical fund.

I am grateful as all get out to read stories like this, cause it gives me hope and faith that human beings are capable of great and selfless love.

I am grateful to the generous donors to the Humane Society.

Here's the story, just about a week ago.

Thank you, Opi
Astro, your work sounds amazing
Daisy, I always love your signature. Very cool that Bekindalways has part of it
Least, such a beautiful post and story

Grateful to go to sonny boys guitar lesson tonight.
Grateful to be planning a vacation for next summer. I am hoping we go on an Alaska cruise
Grateful that when son found out his story only needed to be a couple pages, he wasn’t too upset that he had already written an 8 page beginning section. He didn’t know how to end it briefly. He talked to his teacher and she said it was just fine the way it was and he could simply turn it in. On his own, he has decided he is going to finish the story just because it’s fun to write it . So glad he’s spending time on this instead of the video games.
Grateful for patience
Grateful to discover the many ways art and music inspire me

Yeah, it is. I need to hear some 'feel-good' stories to sustain my faith in mankind. I get depressed over things, but when I read stories like that, my faith is renewed.

To paraphrase Anne Frank: I think people are basically good at heart.
