Aly, hope you get some headache free time today. You didn't mention if you'd finally seen yours off Mags, but I hope you have. Being struck down with headaches seems doubly unfair when there is no alcohol involved.

Daisy, your poor little grandson. So sorry he is still unwell. Thank you for adding your congratulations. It did feel very good to reach twelve weeks.

Rusty, good luck with today's chemo.

Hev, such impressive foresight! No spare coffee making machine in this house.

Grateful to have survived the swimming lesson yesterday. The logistics of getting a very young person and a not at all young person ready and into and out of the pool on time are quite challenging.
Grateful today's toddler based activity only involves me having to beat a tambourine in time to the music. Not that that's not a challenge in itself of course.
Grateful the unseasonal lovely weather seems set to hang around a bit longer.
Grateful this Grat pack thread keeps going, with its own special momentum. And ultra thankful to be part of it.

WO, I am also grateful for another day. And grateful just for today too
Aly, really hope that headache goes away
Rose, big congrats on your twelve weeks. That is amazing. So glad you are part of the grat pack
Rz, hoping for a good treatment for you today
Numblady, good luck with your second day back to work. I hope with the passage of time, you and your family begin to heal. So glad you have support around you
Hev, so sorry about the coffee maker and glad you have a back up. So grateful for coffee!
Courage, glad you did not have to sit there at the airport

Grateful for each of you. I have not been feeling myself, and in quite a sad state. Despite a couple small things, all is good in my life so I’m not sure what the deal is. Grateful my doctor has ordered lab work. Grateful for the abundance of naturopaths and acupuncturists in my area. Grateful for meditation, yoga and running (my moving meditation)
Grateful to laugh, then cry for some weird reason, hearing my little cat Daisy meow. She sounds like a baby chewybacca sometimes
Grateful to tell the automated voice to just eff off. I’m sorry if that offends anyone here. I was caught in one of those automated mazes trying to get to a real live person to discuss an ongoing billing dispute about OT my son had three years ago.
Grateful to ultimately be nice to the real person. Grateful the real person told me the notice was an error on their side and the system does show the dispute to be resolved.
Grateful nothing too horrible ever happened as a result of my drinking. Read a story in the news of a wealthy well known father in my area arrested for intoxication and involuntary manslaughter for the death of his 11 year old son in a boating accident. A reminder that alcoholism does not discriminate
There, but for the grace of god....
Grateful to be slowly moving forward
Grateful for my sobriety
Grateful for each of you

I agree about the thread, Rose - grateful you're here.
Fearless - I hope you get to feeling more yourself.
What a horrific thing - the father causing his son's death. I often think how fortunate I was to avoid tragedy.
Daisy - Hoping g.son will begin to improve.
Grateful for a gorgeous sunny week - without the heat & humidity.
Grateful for a patient husband - who I'm sure doesn't really get me sometimes.
Grateful we can be ourselves here.

Fearless - so sorry you've got the blues and I hope things are looking a bit better today. I hate those emotionally precarious almost life doesn't feel worth living kind of days. Mercifully they tend not to linger too much with me (as in with non-alcoholic me) so I can only hope that's the same for you. But in any case, big hugs! And on the subject of the father who caused his son's death: I cannot even begin to imagine how one would ever come to terms with that. It's really hard to think there is anything good about alcohol at all.

Rusty - hope the chemo wasn't too tiring/arduous/horrible. I say that because people I know have used all of those words to describe it even though of course they're beyond grateful for its effects.

Aly - it would be very nice if your headache gave you a day off today.

Daisy - how is your grandson?

Thankful for a day off toddler care today because I haven't slept too well so it's a relief to have a later start to the day
Grateful to be going adult only swimming today! I can just about manage the logistics of that!.
Grateful to be going to look at what is apparently a really good art exhibition this adternoon. One of those things we kept putting off but have finally got round to booking.
Grateful to have found a new allegedly healthy cordial. I was getting a bit bored of my rather exclusive lime and soda drinking regime.
Grateful, naturally, to be here with you all. Finally, a very slight nip of autumn in the air. Time to prepare for the arrival of those slightly melancholy feelings!

Fearless, no that doesn’t sound like you. Hope you get some good help from the acupuncturists et al.

Grateful to be going with a group of work colleagues to a funeral today to support another colleague. Not grateful for the event but grateful I learned the importance of going to the funeral to support the bereaved.
Grateful that a long time ago I bought tickets for my daughter and I to go see a completely absurd tween concert and tonight is the night. If I hadn’t already bought the tickets I definitely wouldn’t have done it.
Grateful my kids will try foods now and I actually cooked for them last night.
Grateful for our silly two cats.
Grateful the second day back to work was much better than the first. It was like I was just kind of normal. I imagine that will come and go. I wasn’t trying to make myself be/feel normal; I just kind of did. It was strange.
Grateful for this place.

Rose - I hope you enjoy the exhibit. Report back.
Numblady - Maybe the tween concert will exceed your expectations.
Off to Walmart & the dollar store....I don't mean to brag.
Grateful for no hangover.
Grateful for faith and optimism.
Grateful I woke up with the determination to make it a good day - maybe even a great one.
