So glad your eye is doing better, FBL
Aly, really sorry about your shift last night and I hope it’s something that just blows over
Deserto, you really are a traveling man
I like that, least. You are good with words and poems
Grateful to see Hevyn, Rose, and everyone else here
Eye shadow not trivial, Rose. I feel your pain when I makeup color I’ve grown to love is discontinued. In my case, it’s usually lipstick. Why do they do that to us?!
Numblady, it’s good that you continue to find meaning in your brothers death ❤️

Grateful for a long run, and for humility as once again someone twice my age and size breezed right past me. Grateful for the reminder it isn’t about competition and it’s more about running my own race and the therapeutic and meditative nature of running. Grateful for my 80’s playlist, especially Flashdance What a Feeling and ZZ Top She’s Got Legs
Grateful for my silly big cat who just sits there staring at his Batman shadow
Grateful for a beautiful fall day and how blessed I am to be surrounded by nature
Grateful for each of you

Numblady, I’m pleased your family is closer.
Aly, I hope the ARF shift was just a blip, if not I know you’ll do the best to look after yourself.
FBL, I’m so pleased your eye is improving.

Grateful for sober Sunday mornings
Grateful for all of you
Grateful for my morning coffee

Special hello to strutting Felix!

A.y - I hope whatever it that bothered you at the ARF gets sorted out.

Numblady - exactly! And we're starting a new arts and crafts thing next week so I might also be helpimg to launch the career of a future artist. I hadn't actually heard the term 'silent auction' before your post so I had to look it up. I feel I can pass on the autum shower curtains.... I do not envy you your job, although I applaud you and your colleagues for doing it.

Daisy - cupboard under the sink. Please don't remind me. Best not to go there.

Fearless - your big silly cat sounds lovely!

Like Mags, grateful for sober Sunday mornings. So many that weren't.
Grateful that I made myself do a partly uphill walk yesterday. I hate uphill walking because I find it such a struggle so I was left feeling very virtuous after my efforts.
Grateful for a relaxing evening with friends. As usual, I poured the wine (that was always my job at these gatherings) but didn't drink any of it. I'm pretty sure it became my job in the past because I could then sneak in an extra glass whenever I wanted to. No stone unturned in my quest. Glad that was then and this is now.
Thankful to be able to offer a lift home to one of my friends at the end of the evening. I was reminded of the times I left my car and took taxis home in the past when good intentions didn't materialise. And I had so many good intentions that didn't materialise! So grateful they've materialised now.

Sunday in the U.K. with no rain yet. Time to go walking uphill!

Aly, I'm sorry your shift at the ARF didn't go too well, I hope it gets sorted.

Pouring down here Rose. I was always the wine pourer too, method in my madness. Now I'm the one with a cup of tea in hand whilst pouring the wine for others and that's the way I like it.

Grateful, more than grateful to have 18 months sober today, thank you all for helping me to achieve this miracle.
Grateful that Least has 9 years and 10 months sober today, what an inspiration.
Grateful to be hangover, guilt and shaky hands free.
Grateful to sleep in this morning, though I didn't plan to or want to, my body must have needed it.
Grateful for a good cup of tea.
Grateful for my naughty little cat, she pounced on me a t 4.30 a.m and then jumped out of the bathroom window ( there is ground floor extension below, she does it regular.)
Grateful I don't have to do any running about this morning.
Grateful to touch up a few of my painted pebbles.
Grateful to see you all here.
Grateful to smile at Least's 'strutting' Felix and you're right Aly, John Travolta, I was trying to think who he reminded me of, lol.
Grateful for your kindness, empathy and ongoing support.

Grateful for the strutting Felix and for imagining “Staying Alive” playing in the background.
Grateful for the blessing of the animals and that Aly’s Luke will receive one.
Grateful for my ridiculous cats. My little three legged one would get up on the back of our couch and stare and stare at a dark window like he was possessed. I’ve now realized there are two very light salamanders/lizards who like to hang out on that window screen and wait for bugs so for my cat it’s kind of like watching television.
Grateful both kids had sleepovers last night and to watch two comedy specials and eat up leftovers with my husband.
Grateful we are supposed to get two days of mild respite from the heat before we’re back in the mid 90s again . Grateful the hot days will supposedly be fairly short lived.
Grateful to ride my bike for several hours yesterday then take a nap and then have one of those divine nights of sleep where I did not wake up once.
Grateful for a quiet empty house in which to post and then do yoga.
Grateful for the internet as always. While Pinterest can mess with your mind and make you feel like a failure because you’re not making personalized cubbies for your kids and repurposing palettes into benches and so forth, it really is a great place to get ideas. Also grateful that it’s possible to look at real estate listings from the comfort of your own home. Grateful to be able to order and look at groceries that way too.
Grateful to be able to also buy items for the food pantry along with our own stuff.
Grateful for sweet vanilla cold brew.
Grateful for boundaries. Even if I suck at establishing them sometimes.
Grateful for a day to fill with purpose and productivity.
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful we're all gathered here to encourage & care for each other.
Grateful to read about all your kitties - & to be inspired by Strutting Felix. Guess what? I did some Felix research & that kitty made his first appearance 100 yrs. ago! He was pre-Mickey Mouse.
Grateful for our determination & resilience. Very few understand what we've been through.
Grateful for the falling, blowing, colorful leaves.
Grateful it isn't 'Sunday Morning Coming Down'.
Grateful to be much happier as a non-drinker than I ever imagined. Hard to believe I thought life would be dull & uneventful.
Grateful to learn more about each of you.

Grateful for how much we all care and support each other
Grateful I am dreaming about Numblady’s good sleep and wishing the same for myself tonight
Grateful to have at least slept in
Grateful for coffee
Grateful for healthy granola and fruit for breakfast
Grateful to be going for another long run

Grateful for Fearless too and a great message that helped me put my thoughts in perspective and I love you for it too. ♥ Thank you Courage too. ♥
Grateful that I can tell you all of the most shameful, stupid things I have done over the years, to be met with love, some good advice and to know I'm not alone with my struggles and my good times.
So grateful for all of you and glad Rusty's friends are keeping him well fed!
Have a great day Grat Pack! ♥♥♥

Grateful that Billie saved me from the despair that overtook me after Jack died. She loved me back to sanity.

Grateful that we were brought together that Tuesday in May over 3 yrs ago. I was destined to go there and destined to find her.

Hev, I googled it since you said you did. Felix has quite a history. And yes, it's 100 yrs since Felix made his appearance.
