Today I Am Grateful For ~ Part 17
Today (So far) it's 2.38pm
Waking up early, getting dressed fast (it was cold) workouts, breakfast, cleaning, giggling, peace of mind, small epiphanies, old and new friends, fitting into an old never worn jacket and dare I say it dashing lol
for a long winter walk feeding birds & geese
for not reacting when a security guard thought I might do a runner I wanted to play like I was but just thought don't lol
Traditional leftovers (YUM)
Seasonal vegetables roasted
My new slippers
Fresh air

Thoughts and prayers with Australia and all the Aussies here at SR heartbreaking & devastating
The firemen are beyond heroic in what seems an impossible situation and yet still there battling the flames one guy I could of swore looked in his 50's
Today I am grateful for all the good in my life

Today I am grateful for reaching day 9 of sobriety, the sounds of the butcher birds and noisy miners singing and chirping away outside my window, yummy cups of tea, the early morning quiet before the rest of the world wakes up, hearing the distant murmur of the waves smashing down on the beach, fuzzy koala slippers I got for Christmas, a semi-cool morning (for a summer morning) and a whole sober Sunday ahead of me!!! :-)
Good to hear your injuries are healing Kaneda can I ask what happened
For the gas engineer .. he actually turned up
I forgot about this so grateful for good fortune as our boiler has a bit of a character and has started turning on when it wants at any time of the day or night which obviously hits us hard as gas is expensive I informed the engineer about this and have been hearing noises like he's cutting pipe but I swear this is meant to be a safety check I'll have to check the letter after
More to come lol
