Grateful sponsee made it back - a true blessing, Zip.
Numblady - I don't want to feel my feelings either, at times.
Grateful for the early morning coolness prior to the heat.
Grateful for all the compassion here.
Grateful that most people don't remind me of past behavior - thankfully.
Grateful for hope and high expectations.

Grateful to spend my lunch break with SR. It’s morming somewhere!
Grateful for a busy morning. Apparently, some of my clients and work contacts waited for me to return from vacation rather than go to one of my back-ups to handle an issue. I will take that as a compliment, I guess . Grateful I’ll catch up

Grateful we no longer use such creative strategies to cover up alcohol. Speaking of empty bottles, my husband turned the house upside down last night looking for something, which he eventually found, but I thought about how if that happened a few years ago, I probably would have had a panic attack over what he might find. Grateful to have nothing to hide
Grateful to be myself when I come here. Sometimes with work, and life in general, it feels like I have to keep up appearances or whatever. It is nice to let down the guard and just be honest and genuine
Yes, Numblady, I relate to the parenting rollercoaster. My son was so sweet to me at the start of the morning. We were having a nice talk about vacation ideas for next year. I said it would be fun to go to New York. All of a sudden, he blew up at me saying he has wanted to go to New York for several years, basically since he was born, and we never consulted him (when he was two) and instead went to Hawaii (as if he didn’t have fun on that trip). Then we were one minute late to camp and he freaked out (guess I’m the one who instilled in him the need to be early, not just on time). Hopefully he’ll be in a good mood again when I pick him up.
I hope you can find that book
Grateful for each of you here. Thank you for spending lunch with me

Fearless, hopefully your son will grow out of his bursts of words to you! I’m sure he doesn’t mean it!

Grateful for the chance to gather my thoughts for the day and have quietude .
Grateful for my morning coffee
Grateful for my life after booze
Grateful for all of you.

Fearless - love the idea that you should have consulted your then 2 year old on the subject of vacation ideas. You need to remember that one to tell him when he is a grown up with a 2 year old of his own!

Grateful for a beautiful day especially since I'm spending most of it in Kew Gardens, as it happens with two 2 year olds (with whom I won't be discussing holidays!)
Grateful to have had a nice meal out last night with a couple who were active participants with us in many a heavy drinking session in the past. Appreciated the fact that one of them joined me in choosing lime and soda to drink instead of wine.
Grateful I've done most of my packing. We are going away tomorrow.
Grateful I've sorted out the various train tickets we'll need while we are away
Grateful to be a Grat packer with you all (and therefore a member of the creme de la creme thread on SR)
Hope everyone has a great day.

Fearless, sorry about being on the rollercoaster too. Hope it got better. Rose is right. We should probably write some of this stuff down. The things that my kids will flip on a dime about can be pretty hilarious. Not having a YouTube channel, not liking their lamp, wanting to move back to our old house, not wanting to spend the night away when I was giving birth (my son brings this up years later). They come out of nowhere with this stuff.

Grateful to get a good night of sleep last night.
Grateful to be nearing vacation (and trying hard to tell myself not to feel bad because it’s going to mean more work for others and a fair percentage of people around my office just work through their vacations).
Grateful to learn the lesson to be super careful before you pay the housekeeper on Venmo (I paid the wrong one and of course the person won’t give me my $ back).
Grateful to be about to do a quick yoga class.
Grateful for Grat Packers.

Grateful to be able to have time off to get to appointments for care; even more grateful to have insurance that mostly covers the care!
Grateful for peace, for hope, for trust.

Numblady I very often feel that way too. x

I hope your CBT group went well Aly.

Have a good day in Kew Gardens Rose and have a lovely holiday. Post if you can.

I can relate to your old panics re your husband turning the house upside down Fearless, I used to be the same back in the day. Even now if he's been out somewhere without me I can feel him watching me when he come's back in. He doesn't do it so much now though, so things are getting better.

Grateful for another hangover and guilt free morning.
Grateful for being up early, showered and dressed before 06.30.
Grateful all went well with the school run.
Grateful my mum is in good health.
Grateful for good coffee, I need it this morning, I'm very tired.
Grateful to watch my naughty little Lulu cat chasing butterflies and bees in the garden.
Grateful to have a healthy dinner planned for later.
Grateful the beautiful orchid my mum bought me is in full bloom. I must remember to give it a bit of water.
Grateful R.Z's sponsee made it back.
Grateful for the empathy shown on this thread.
Grateful to be here with you all. xx

Yes, Mags, Rose and Numblady!
Me too, Rusty
Grateful for peace, Hope and trust too.
Daisy, I hope you get some rest, or the coffee helps
Grateful to have so much to relate to with each of you
Grateful for the beauty surrounding me. For some reason,it has been unusually windy several days in a row. Maybe it’s climate change. Grateful for the wind because I think it’s dispersd some seeds from some of the plants in the garden creating new growth in other areas.
Grateful I have a meeting scheduled today with one of my favorite clients
Grateful I might have time to take a nap after lunch
Grateful I had time to soak some cashews and make cashew cream, and will be making a zucchini pasta dish with it with shrimp and mushrooms for dinner
Grateful for one day at a time
Grateful for each of you and the support we give each other in sobriety and life

(((Fearless))) my thoughts are with you. Child rearing is not for the faint of heart, I think.♥
Thank you Daisy, my love
Grateful to be off to my shift at the ARF thrift store in a little while. Then I have a laundry/disinfecting shift on Friday. I just have to remember what I've learned to protect my back. I really love it. I just wish I wasn't so tired these days. I think it's the heat.
Grateful for all of you. So wonderful to read all the grats and that we can share our ups and downs. ♥♥♥
Rusty, that's my favorite grat of yours, although I have to admit, you have a great way with words, putting a lot of meaning into a short sentence. Grateful you're here.
Have a great day Grat Packers! ♥♥♥

Fearless, your zuccini dish sounds wonderful. I pick up so many cooking and baking ideas here.

Aly, I’m so pleased you’re liking the thrift store, and looking after yourself as well. Enjoy your day.

Nef, another beauiful Rose. I never tire of your photos.

Grateful we’ve had some rain in the night and cleared the air.
Grateful for my morning coffee
Grateful for everybody here, thankyou for brightening my day.
Grateful for being sober, always.
