Grateful to wake up with no hangover or guilt
Grateful for a good nights sleep, live in grandson stayed with his daddy last night and is there until Sunday, I don't usually sleep well when he's with him. When I get him back he is always rebellious and gives a lot of back chat.
Grateful to be going to a friends wedding reception tonight and grateful I won't be drinking and making a fool of myself. It will be so good to be able to remember everything. She's an old friend and we used to drink together, but she has a stop button whereas I was born without one.
Grateful to be able to give my mum a lift into town shortly.
Grateful to be able to post and share here.
Grateful Anaya's MIL is in good hands and is being well looked after.
Grateful Numblady is picking up her son today.
Grateful Mags asthma attack didn't get any worse.
Grateful to read all the grats posts, it sets me up for the day.
Grateful to be here with you all. xx

Doh! Lost half a post.
Fearless oh my gosh my son is also supposed to patch. He too got more serious about it after the last doc visit. but then he didn’t like his patch and wanted a different kind so thenI had to do Internet research to find him something more convex blah blah blah. Needless to say we’ve fallen off that wagon but I’m hoping we can get back on it this summer.
Grateful for Hev’s reminder we are not alone.
Grateful Mags’ attack was not worse.
Grateful for all your posts in addition to the few I can most immediately remember !
Grateful to be going on a bike ride today and earning the fancy dinner I’m buying my husband and i later. That’s what he likes to do on Father’s Day weekend. Go have a nice steak dinner and have a sitter the day before. Then he cooks on actual Father’s Day. I’ll take it!
Grateful for this time to post.
Grateful for this group.

I am grateful SIL and I put our "differences" aside to have a heart-to-heart last evening. MIL (her mom) is going through a crisis, and it's pretty clear we all have to put our conflicts aside for now and come together to support Mom.

Grateful that in addition to sobriety, we all share much in common!
Grateful to be going to watch my son in his black belt training class this morning
Grateful the weather is going to be much cooler today and I can go for a long run mid day without overheating
Grateful to be going over to our close friends for a BBQ tonight. The mom is one of my closest friends and is a nondrinker. She has a fairly severe autistic child. Her other son is spectrum also, but high functioning aspergers like my son
Grateful that I will be grocery shopping and buying steak for Father’s Day dinner tomorrow. And like Numblady said, my husband will be cooking it. His favorite meal is steak. But BBQ is not something I know how to do. Lol. I’ll make the Gorgonzola topping and salad though.
Grateful for all of you

Deserto - I'm glad you mentioned Big Little Lies too - I put it on my Netflix queue.
RZ - I hear only good things about cataract surgery results. They've greatly improved it. I'll be right behind you.

Grateful for a bright, sunny, cool day - but rain again later. Better try to do some stuff before the drops fall.
Grateful to know you're all here every morning.
Grateful that those with social engagements this weekend have no intention of drinking. You are fabulous.

Numblady, half a pound is better than nothing, it's like a pack of butter spread all over and it least it was in the right direction. I'd have been happy with half a pound this week.

Grateful to be up this morning, sober, hangover and guilt free after a late night at an old friends wedding reception, it was the 1st big event I've been to since being sober and it was a bit of an eye opener watching the antics of those who were worst for drink and listening to all the gobbledygook they come out with.
Grateful I don't drink any more.
Grateful Mr D.B is still in bed asleep and I'm up enjoying some quiet time to myself.
Grateful to read all the grats posts this morning.
Grateful FBL has his cataract surgery scheduled, I know quite a few people that have had that procedure done and every single one of them is delighted with the results.
Grateful Anaya and SIL are putting their mum's needs first.
Grateful Erratic didn't drink at the wedding, I'm so proud of you lovely, I knew you could do it.

Happy Father's day to;
All the Fathers
Step Fathers
Grand Fathers
God Fathers
Foster Fathers
Pet Fathers
and Fathers in heaven.

xxx

Grateful for fathers of all varieties. Well the kind ones anyway!
Grateful for a successful Father’s Day meal out. Mr. N.L. was very pleased.
Grateful I survived a tough bike ride in the heat yesterday. It demolished me.
Grateful for a deep sleep last night.
Grateful for the washing machine. Pretty amazing to throw in smelly camp clothes and towels from my kid and have them coming out wearable again.
Grateful for a day with no official plans , just some stuff I hope to do.
Grateful to be here with you all.

Happy Father's Day to all dads here in the grat pack.

I am grateful for the generosity and selflessness of and for the wisdom gained through lessons passed on by both my dad and FIL. They were amazing and accomplished men.
