Grateful for a relatively cool morning here in Florida.
Grateful for my morning quiet time before anyone else wakes up.
Grateful that I'll be getting groceries and cooking today. Providing good things for my family is a GIFT of sobriety.

Thanks for those reminders, Deserto and Numblady! On those mornings, I’d also eat terrible high fat greasy carb loaded foods, such as McD’s, to make myself feel better. Didn’t help my weight!
Grateful for a relatively healthy lifestyle now in general
Grateful I just received my new veggie cookbook I ordered from Amazon. There’s no carrot cookie in there. Lol
Grateful to feel energized and motivated. It’s a short day since it’s sonny boy’s last day of school!

I was going to say the same thing as Fearless - thanks for the memories. I need them. Because when I woke up feeling that way I had a 'hair of the dog'.
Grateful for the thought provoking & amusing posts here.
Daisy - grateful for the reminder to eat healthy, because I'm on my way to the grocery store & had planned on checking out the ice cream.
Grateful for humor.
Grateful for everyone reading this post.

Grateful to be up early. I have a consultation with another ortho guy to see if I qualify for an epidural.
Grateful for patience and endurance.
Grateful, that although I'm tired, I'm up and doing what I have to. I think it's the heat.
Grateful for A/C.
Grateful for all of you! I too am back to eating healthy too!
Have a wonderful day all my fellow Grat Packers!! ♥♥♥

Grateful to have stayed up late binge-watching Big Little Lies, season one. So good! Grateful to start season two this evening.

Thanks Fearless and Hevyn for the additional reminders (terrible food and maybe a shot) of how awful those mornings used to be. And the sense of panic, and dread. I very rarely experience those emotions now; they used to be a near-daily occurrence. What an awful way to live.

Grateful to have caught up with one of my oldest and best friends last week, after more than a decade of being out of touch. He and I drank together starting when we were fourteen, and never let up until life took us different ways in our mid-twenties (and we didn't let up in each other's absence, either). Grateful to learn that he has been sober 7 months and is working a program. I hope to go up to Montana in late July to visit him. He is one of the sweetest and most loyal friends I have ever had, and it was a joy to hear his voice.

Thank you so much, Mags. It means the world to me. This guy said that he will have someone call early Mon or Tues next week with a date. I would think, just by my experience with surgeons, they usu run a bit late. I will let you know. Have a wonderful weekend and you mean so much to me!! Love to you, Aly ♥♥♥

Grateful to be up early with no hangover or guilty feelings.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful to see my g.son and Lulu cat curled up together on the rug in front of the fire.
Grateful to have the fire on, even though it's ridiculous to even have to put it on in June.
Grateful to have got all my morning posts completed now.
Grateful Deserto's friend is 7 months sober, how good is that?
Grateful to read all the grats this morning.
Grateful to you all for your kindness & support. xx

Grateful to be picking up my son today.
Grateful for quiet time to post and for work being mercifully manageable of late.
Grateful to soak up the positivity from your posts.
Grateful to be paying for our lodgings for our vacation today (not grateful for the money part or putting some of it on a credit card...but grateful that it’s going to be booked and paid for).
Grateful for a dream I had. Hard to explain precisely but was talking to several friends who were in recovery and we were picking an event or occasion where we were going to drink again.I had a feeling of anticipation and dread. One of them pointed out basically that maybe we shouldn’t undo all we had done and that kind of knocked us out of our insanity and we realized it was a bad idea. A little revealing I think about what is going on underneath my thoughts.
Grateful that almost every day I have a thought about something I want to post here and I say to myself I’ll definitely remember by the time I go to post...and then I never remember.
Grateful for the notes function on my phone since my memory clearly can’t be trusted!
Grateful to be here with you kind souls.

Aly - I hope an appointment can be set up soon.
Grateful I found some low calorie frozen yogurt that doesn't taste 'meh'.
Grateful I've become adept at chasing away a grumpy mood.
Grateful I never feel alone - I have you all.

Well, it’s just about 4 pm and I am just now getting around to morning gratitude post. Lol. I thought about it earlier and then the day got away from me with lots of interruptions.
Deserto, glad you posted about Big Little Lies. I started S2/E1 last night. Have t finished yet. Plan to tonight hopefully great to hear about your friends sobriety and your reconnection also
Numblady, I agree dreams can be very telling with what is going on, sometimes scarily so. Glad you are paying attention. Also, I relate to the other bit about thinking of something I’m grateful for that I want to post, then forget. iPhone notes are awesome, I agree!
Grateful I got more work done today than I expected, though I will still have some work over the weekend
Grateful my husbands Father’s Day gift arrived on time. I was late ordering it. But you know, Amazon.
Grateful my son is listening to his eye doctor about the need to patch. He won’t listen to me or Dad unless a more important person, such as a doctor, tells him the same thing
Grateful my son has decided after all that he is going to stick with the reading camp, and enjoyed the first session better than he thought he would
Grateful the heat wave is over for now, and to be sitting on the back patio in 75 degree weather listening to the water fountain, the wind, the birds and other nature sounds.
Grateful for each of you
