Thank you so much Numblady (good luck with the lice, I hear they're tough to deal with, I'm so sorry). Thank you Fearless too. I'm so glad you all are here!!♥

Grateful for those who served and to always remember.
Grateful to be up early doing my laundry.
Grateful that I am coming to realize that I'm not sure I can stay living where I am, with my mom who had a stroke and really should not be alone. Grateful for her help financially but she can be very abusive and it makes me feel so badly. I'm just not sure where I would go. I suppose this will work itself out one way or another.
So Grateful for all of you. Have a wonderful Memorial Day. ♥♥♥

Aly, what a difficult decision indeed. Could you separate the steps and first look at getting support in your mom’s home for her and/or finding somewhere for her to live—and then sorting out where you can go/afford to go? Regardless I’ll join Hev in praying for a good resolution.
Wondering where Daisy is and hoping all is well with her.

Grateful for my silly cats and the fact that the little one almost fell in the toilet bowl trying to goof around.
Grateful to be taking this week off of work!! Going to take the kids floating on the river.
Grateful that the time we spent at the car dealership led us to stop for lunch after at a nearby restaurant and expose the kids to the river. It’s spring fed so very cool and also just cool in the other sense.
Grateful we got a new car. Like an actual new car. I never would have dreamed of being a new car owner but our in-laws gave us a very nice vehicle we traded in.
So grateful to have help from our families. My parents gave us their old van which I drove in to the ground. Now we were able to stretch ourselves into a nicer vehicle thanks to our in-laws.
Grateful that even though I’m not doing great on getting out of debt that we are comparatively secure and the loss of a vehicle doesn’t mean we have no option for getting to work etc.
Grateful my husband and i have made it 14 years married today.
Grateful to come here with all of you.

I'm here Numblady, I'm never far away from S.R but thank you for your concern. It's been a holiday weekend here and my husband has been home and I just haven't had much time. All is good. I'm sorry about those pesky lice, they're stubborn little rascals.
Ha ha my naughtly little Lulu cat keeps drinking the water out of the toilet bowl, I have to keep the lid down at all times.

I'm sorry that you're having to deal with all that with your mum Aly as well as coping with your own difficulties, you don't deserve it and I shall keep you in my thoughts and prayers. xx

Grateful for another sober start to the day.
Grateful to have time to post here today and catch up with all the news.
Grateful to take my live in g.son to the cinema and grateful it has been refurbished since my last visit, it was very posh, with comfy, spacious, reclining chairs and lots of leg room and a try that you can have over your knee, like on a plane.
Grateful for a good cup of tea.
Grateful my little g.son is playing out with some friends he's made.
Grateful to be here with you all.
Grateful for your support. xx

Hi all.. have read the 12 steps over several times in the last few weeks.. life has changed so much and is much harder with Eddie Lee not wanting to do the healthy things to have his heart grow back to good use.. he is showing signs of recouping but .. is so angry at this health change and what he has to do...
so I have lost 10 pounds he has lost 18.. I do the cooking and bring in the food.. he does not eat much and refuses to drink water with colors or flavors added. if it is not a soda he does not want anything ot do with it..
so I am the caregiver.. the Wife thing left about 3 years ago. any type of show of love is down the drain and slowly slipping away. for once a male forgets that he loved the lady .. the only thing that is important is what he needs when he needs it food clothing bedding and tv.. oh and the phone... Why did they call it Ma Bell. for the men around me live for that phone.

That is tough, Ardy. I hope that you are able to find some personal space
Aly, that is a rough situation you are in also. I can imagine how overwhelming that would be. Wondering if there are community support resources to help you get started researching some solutions.
Congrats on your anniversary, Numblady!
Grateful to finally get to posting here. It’s morning somewhere! I tried earlier but got interrupted
Grateful to spend time in the office with my super fun work friends. Grateful I don’t work in their same department or report to the same boss. The conversation was a good reminder to me about how good I’ve got it
Grateful for the exercise equipment at home and to be able to work out whenever
Grateful for healthy food that tastes good too
Grateful for my silly cats

Ardy, hugs.
Daisy, ha thanks for indulging my worried mind.
And thanks to all for the anniversary wishes. It was a pretty nice night overall.

Grateful to live close to some really amazing natural attractions like the spring fed river my kids and I floated down part of yesterday.
Grateful for how big the world is when you’re not trying to stay close to your next drink.
Grateful for Bluetooth and grateful for it being in my new vehicle. I told my van to call someone yesterday and it worked!
Grateful to be going to the later bike class since I’m off work.
Grateful for the hope I might get a nap later today. Not been sleeping well for some dumb reason.
Grateful for all of you and your kindnesses.
