Grateful that this won't be an 'excuse to drink' weekend, as in the past.
Grateful for the mild, sunny weather - prayers for those in our heartland (floods).
Grateful I never gave up hope.
Grateful for this comforting/encouraging place to visit each day.

I’m going to jump into this thread today. Grateful that I have access to medical care for myself, family, and pets. My whole family has been knocked out by a horrible bacterial infection which has been assisted with the miracle of modern medicine. My dog got bit by another dog and is currently on his second round of procedures/meds to help the infection. So very grateful to healthcare and medicine.

Grateful for some extra sleep this morning. Last week was very busy and I guess I was just tired!!
Grateful to be sober this holiday weekend.
Grateful for all of you.
Grateful for a Stella sighting this morning

Grateful to play Scrabble this morning with son and husband. Grateful to bend the rules a little and allow words from Urban Dictionary like Xaro, which is slang for bizzaro. We’ve all been saying “that’s xaro bro” a lot now
Grateful for ping pong
Grateful for availability of good tasting low carb health foods, including desserts
Grateful for a long run and yoga
Grateful to take a nap
Grateful to have friends coming for dinner

Grateful to be able to reflect on the start of my drinking "career" 39 years ago this weekend and to realize that all of it led me to where I am today. Grateful that I have come to terms with my addiction and that it is now dead and buried for good.

Grateful for another day sober.

Grateful for all the kind thoughts here, and Hev thank you especially for the reminder to pray/send good thoughts for those in the heartlands.
Grateful that if my car was going to completely die, it at least did it in a parking lot when it wasn’t too hot and my kids weren’t with me.
Grateful my husband cooked for us and that he bought me some “wine” with the alcohol removed. It isn’t particularly good and I probably like sparkling grape juice better but it was a sweet gesture.
Grateful to be going to a cookout/pool party later today.
Grateful to be headed out to work in my yard.
Grateful for the roof over my head and the a/c in the Texas heat.
Grateful for all of you.

Numblady, sorry to hear about your car!
Grateful to have good friends over for dinner last night. The other mom is a nondrinker like me and is one of my closest friends. Our husband’s are both normies.
Grateful to sleep in this morning
Grateful to sit on the front porch with my Snuggie and coffee, listen to the wind, chimes, and birds and look out at the hills surrounding my house. It’s very peaceful and quiet here
Grateful for another relaxing day planned and some more rock painting

Grateful for a good night's sleep and to wake up hangover free.
Grateful for a roof over my head as well.
Grateful to remember some of the horrifying things I did while drinking. Definitely a reminder not to pick up again. Grateful for over 15 months sober.
Grateful for all the wonderful people who loyally post here! All my love to you. And prayers to our Heartland too (Thank you Hev for the reminder. I lived in Chicago for several decades and that area is close to my heart) ♥♥♥

Fearless, your porch sounds so lovely!
Aly, congrats on the 15 months. I”m so glad you are here.

Grateful for all those who fought for this country, including and maybe especially those who were not from here in the first place.
Grateful to be working with a car consultant who knows far more than I ever could about selling, buying, financing and the market. (He’s not a dealer or affiliated with one, just helps people buy cars).
Grateful that through my kids we’ve met some pretty cool people. Grateful that I like so many of the parents of the children my kids have befriended.
Grateful that the flexible spending account covers lice treatment. Which my daughter had another one of yesterday. Sigh.
Grateful the legislature finishes today.
Grateful to be feeling a bit better physically.
Grateful for everyone here.

Congrats, Aly!
Good luck with the lice issue, Numblady. I’m sorry you have to go through that. Glad your FSA covers the treatment
Grateful for my little cat cuddled next to me. Though she’s not as little as she used to be.
Grateful for Memorial Day and to honor those who served. Grateful to hear some uplifting news stories about free golf and yoga for vets.
Grateful to make GF pancakes with pecan butter for breakfast
Grateful to plan a family hike in the mild weather.
