Grateful that everyone has got through St Patrick's Day weekend sober.
Grateful my son is home and tucked up in bed
Grateful I feel much better today.It amazes me our recovery speed when sober.
Grateful for my husband in many ways
Grateful for 8 weeks sober and for all of you.

Grateful to be going to bed sober on St.Patrick's day.
Grateful for a quiet day.
Grateful to be home alone most of the afternoon and grateful that I didn't even think about drinking, there was a time when being home alone would mean me getting blotto on wine and crashing out for hours.
Grateful to make a batch of soup for lunches over the next couple of days.
Grateful for the pics of roller coasters that my eldest grandson keeps sending me, he's on the Asberger's spectrum and roller coasters are his current obession. I have to send him pics back and he guesses where in the world they are. He's pretty spot on too. He makes me smile.
Grateful my little cat is attacking my husbands feet and not mine.
Grateful for a hot bath and fresh p.j's.
Grateful to be here with you all. xx

Grateful that in the end, my dinner plans were nothing to worry about and all was well.
Grateful to be of service, even (especially) when I don't really feel like it.

Grateful that St Patty’s day did not trigger me to drink. Funny thing is, I was at the store and noticed people with green bow ties, and it didn’t even registered at the time. I am so oblivious sometimes. At least it’s not from drinking anymore!
Grateful for a good run. I felt like I was flying at the end until someone twice my age and size blew past me. A reminder that I am running my own race at my own pace, and to not compare myself to others. I think of running as being like life that way in general.
Grateful to laugh at myself
Grateful my son wanted to watch Life of Pi in honor of Pi day last week. He loves his math. Seen the movie before but was even better the second time
Grateful for Epsom salt and bubble baths and my cozy Snuggie
Grateful to not react to something that bothered me, to take time for a thoughtful response instead
Grateful for my sobriety
Grateful for a good run. I felt like I was flying at the end until someone twice my age and size blew past me. A reminder that I am running my own race at my own pace, and to not compare myself to others. I think of running as being like life that way in general.

Grateful to have got all my food shopping today in preparation for visitors tomorrow.
Grateful my bread and cake turned out just perfectly this afternoon.
Grateful that although something annoyed me I just let it go.
Grateful for a good day at work.

Fearless, my eldest g.son loves math too and his class actually took pies into school to measure etc to celebrate PI day. x

Grateful to see the sheer joy on my g.son's face when we told him he would be coming on holiday with us.
