Morning Gratitude ~ Part 86

Grateful for the Texas Mountain Laurel. If you’ve never experienced the smell of its blooms you are missing something exquisite — and short lived. These trees grow so slowly and bloom for such a short period of time but when they do I can smell them from about a block away. Fingers crossed my little one will bloom this year!
Grateful I stood my ground when someone higher up told me I should fire someone in my chain of command yesterday when I did not think that was the right thing to do.
Grateful (but also kind of guilty) I’m skipping the group bike ride I’d planned to join a couple girlfriends on. Because it’s too damn cold.
Grateful I found out yesterday a raise that was indefinite is now definite!
Grateful skipping the bike ride will give me some time to catch up on some household stuff.
Grateful when my son was yelling no one understands him and he has no one to talk to that I could try to be there and finally just hug him for a long time.
And of course grats for the grat pack!

Deserto, I’m late catching up here. But geez, that does suck. But good for you having such a great attitude. I’ve been dumped so many times including one time on Valentine’s Day, so I have been there. Been married now for a long time but my husband and I used to fight on Valentine’s days so now we don’t make a big deal about it.
Chance, and we won’t give up on you either!

Grateful for the beautiful and warm weather in TX
Grateful to FT my husband and son with my Dad
Grateful for hotel treadmills
Grateful for a nearby Starbucks and decaf chai lattes. I need to stay off coffee and caffeine for a bit since I’m having a hopefully temporary bout with acid reflux.

Grateful for a little break in the rain, although it looks like it's coming back.

Grateful to sleep in.
Grateful for a sunny day to hang with Henry, clean the house, read, journal, watch movies, and generally distract myself while I wait for this wounded heart to heal.
Grateful to not be pouring booze on the wound.

Grateful to be awake early and clear headed.
Grateful to be the only one in the house that's up.

Trudging, grateful you are here and have your husband’s support. I can’t imagine how difficult it is to battle lung cancer but I’m glad you are here with us while you do just that.
Fearless, I know I’m going to feel dumb as soon as I find this out but what is FT?
Grateful for my little greenhouse. The plants were so happy in there but it kept blowing over and now they are very sad and damaged
but my husband secured it yesterday so we should be okay.
Grateful to be planning my son’s sleepover at a nearby cabin with zero (okay maybe not zero but close to zero) thought of when I’ll get to be at the cabin drinking.
Grateful for pizza and pasta.
Grateful I got a good night’s sleep two nights in a row and took a very deep nap yesterday afternoon.
Grateful for my herb garden.
Grateful to be up in the quiet. My husband has already left to run a marathon and the kids are still asleep (knock wood).
Grateful for all of you.
