Grateful/not grateful for the cute, chubby squirrels that are eating all the birdseed.
Grateful for rising temps so the sheet of ice will disappear.
Grateful that I stopped myself from diving into that potato chip bag.
Grateful for a new opportunity every day to offer people a hand up.

Grateful to wake up early before the alarm went off and be up, showered and dressed even though it's still pitch black out there.
Grateful for some quiet time to myself whilst the rest of the house sleeps on.
Grateful to be hangover and guilt free.
Grateful my naughty little cat sneaked in and slept in the drawer under the bed all night.
Grateful to read all your posts and to have time to post myself.
Grateful to be here with you all. xx

I also am grateful for some quiet time to myself - for choosing to carve out some time daily before everyone is up and about -- this early a.m. experience here on SR is something I look forward to.

Grateful for the concept of Valentine's Day and happy for those in love and in pursuit of love; thankful to have experienced romance in my lifetime.

That we all may reach out to someone, who may be lonely, sad, or suffering in silence -- to give a smile, kind words, a reassuring hug, or a squeeze to the hand, or to otherwise choose to quietly do something kind for someone else, paying forward a kindness done for us; those are my wishes for the day.

Grateful to believe it is important to help people if you can, to show that to my children, and for the chance to notice and appreciate all those around me who are helping others and making the world a better place.
Grateful for making long stoplights every once in a while—and two days in a row this week!
Grateful for a comfy bed and good sleep (I did not get up once, which is rare).
Grateful this week is getting closer to ending.
Grateful for spring beginnning to unfold.
Grateful for the wisdom of plants.
Grateful to all of you.

Grateful that I spent time with some very smart people yesterday and learned a lot. Grateful I went out to dinner with the client team, and even though I was the only one not drinking, no one seemed to notice or care
Grateful I made it ho,e safe.
Grateful my husband took care of karate and dinner
Grateful that even though I again did not sleep well, my house was not driven down the hill by a major mudslide! Grateful everything seems to be intact including the big trees in the yard
Grateful for shelter
Grateful to be caught up at work and leave nothing outstanding before my vacation
Grateful for all of you

Grateful to be dumped the day before and not on Valentine's Day. Boy, that could have sucked.

Grateful to be sober and mature and to be able to feel grateful for this interlude, to take lessons from it and not let disappointment knock me off my center.

Grateful to be like I was in the first place.

Well... I almost made it here during the morning hours.
Deserto - Grateful for your attitude. I commend you. When things like that happened to me I would isolate - very dangerous. Hugs to you.
Fearless - Grateful you didn't have a slide.
Grateful I've learned to turn off the news when it's repetitious & disheartening.
Grateful I continue to have a bit of willpower. I received candy today (thanks to my diet saboteur) but I will not eat it all at once.
Anaya - I love your last paragraph. That is my intent - but I fall short sometimes.
Grateful for my SR family.

Grateful that I had enough clarity through the drug haze to start seeking recovery again.

Grateful that I'm lying here in a warm bed with a roof over my head.
