Jack was a rescue too. He was given up by his owner because he got heartworms and the owner didn't want to pay the cost of treatment. It was the owner's fault he got heartworms to begin with!!

I am grateful that I ended up with Jack as my forever dog, my sweet old man.

Grateful to share my birthday with my dogs and cats and kids. Got phone calls from the kids and the dogs licked me. I am grateful to be loved.

Grateful to be slowing down the day sober. I have an appt in the morning and I want to be clear headed and clear eyed (although I do have to get up extra early!)
