Grateful to be ending another day sober.
Grateful my husband said I can have a cat ( I was going to get one anyway lol, but I needed him to realise he wanted one too!)Just got to find one now.
Grateful to be able to watch the awards assembly at school.
Grateful to take my g.son to karate and grateful he is sleeping over.
Grateful my lovely son in law is feeling less anxious today.
Grateful for a phone call from my lovely daughter.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful to you all for being part of my journey. xx

Do you have any shelters/humane societies where you live? I'd go there and look for one.

And consider adopting an older cat. They have a harder time finding homes than kittens do.

Tonight I am grateful to look up from the monitor and see that Jack came in the room.

I love it when he's near me.

Grateful I got to rest today. Grateful that if I have to be tired & have a headache (I think from the smoke from the fires) that I had the time to rest. Grateful to be going to bed later sober.
