Today I am grateful to no longer be in that horrible self-destructing cycle of drinking, having a terrible hangover, "trying" not to drink, rinse and repeat. I just made it through a 3 day holiday weekend, sober. It wasn't easy and I had many moments of boredom and self pity but I kept my sobriety at the forefront of it all. I am proud and also grateful to be here today with 45 days of sobriety.
