ohwonder's gratitude thread.

i love this idea & i hope no one minds if i make my own thread. my goal is to add to it every night before bed.

here are a few things i've been grateful for over the last few days:

i'm grateful for:
- my husband letting me steal away more time for myself
- him chipping in a lot more with the kids
- being strong enough to tell certain people that i no longer have room for them in my life
- being able to fit in more workouts because it helps me physically & mentally

thank you, opivotal!

i haven’t been great about keeping up with this! my kids wear me out at the end of the night & then i crash.

i’m thankful tonight:
- for not drinking at all the last 19 days
- because my husband has started to work his second job again
- we have a kitchen full of groceries
- things can always get better, not necessarily worse

today has been a tough, tough day. i was thisclose to getting a 50oz bottle of cabernet but i didn’t & it was hard. and i cried and i hate crying more than anything. especially in front of people. it’s the worst, but it wasn’t as bad as drinking, so i’m thankful i didn’t give in or give up.

((ohwonder)) I'm sorry you had a tough day.

My emotions were all over the place the first month. You didn't buy the cabernet, that's what counts. I never regretted waking up sober... ever.

Well done on 19 days and counting.

opivotal, i love what you said! i think i'm going to make that my new phone wallpaper so i see it all the time. "i've never regretted waking up sober."

tonight:
- i'm over whatever i was sick with (stomach bug, food poisoning, no idea)
- my husband is planning on working his second job again tomorrow
- i didn't drink
- i didn't go over to my friend's house, who was wanting a drinking partner

21 days now! thankful for that!!
