Thank you so much to our charming Dee.

FBL - Wonderful news about your eye.
Intro - Happy to hear you're feeling less anxious. Long may it last.
PalmerSage - Prayers going up for good results.
Grateful for bright sun when many places nearby are getting hammered with snow.
Grateful for a nice ride yesterday, but this time of year it's rather drab out there.
Grateful for a husband who does the cooking.
Grateful for the dear GP.

PS, I’m so sorry if I missed mention earlier of the biopsy. Glad it is over and will join Hev in sending up prayers for good results.
CBS, so sorry for the stress with your mother and your sibs. That would be hard to let go.

Grateful to Dee for all his work on this site.
Grateful that when I got up today the coffee was already made and ready to pour.
Grateful that sleeping until 6 feels like sleeping in.
Grateful my kids are somewhat older. Really feeling for the parents of Littles whose child cares keep having to close. And now for us they will likely close school this week because of snow.
Grateful I should be getting rid of a lot of stuff through the BuyNothing group today. And what people don’t want can go to the curb for bulk trash or to donation if it’s in good enough shape.
Grateful for bulk trash pick up in our city. They are having such a hard time finding staff that they have to indefinitely discontinue the service starting in February, though.
Grateful for a nice time with friends last night. When the bartender brought a round of drinks to all the adults at the table she told me I was missing out. And inside I thought, actually, no I’m not. Other people are!
Grateful for a new day.
Grateful for this special group.

Grateful NL comfortable at the bar, and had a good mindset.
Grateful Alpine got to speak with hubby and has a warm house
Grateful I went on the What I’ve Been Reading Thread by admin Anna and downloaded free books from library at her review and suggestions
Grateful to start the day with 😈 ( you can figure that out)
Grateful I can ski today and tomorrow before my arm surgery
Grateful I told my younger daughter about the skin cancer, Dr Free encouraged me (didn’t want to freak her out)
Grateful I did my Pilates and stretching yesterday
Grateful for FOOTBALL 🏈🏈🏈🏈 today, Go Chiefs!!!
Grateful for coffee, and good food
Extremely grateful to be inching along in my new life, and for all of you

Dee, I'm so grateful for you, and everything you do here.
Thanks for the good thoughts RE: my husband. He's a real worrier about health stuff, and it didn't help that we went to a memorial "party" last night for one of his close friend's wives, who died from pancreatic cancer at age 53. There were some folks who were drinking really heavily, which made it even more sad, including her sons who are 23 and 21.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful I was able to hold my ground and stand firm when my husband was trying to drunkenly argue with me last night. That is one thing I'm NOT doing!
Grateful for a very comfortable guest room for times like that.
Grateful to see some good friends.
Grateful to have no plans for today, other than a mountain of laundry and a pretty dirty house.
Grateful my younger son is home from camping. I wanted to clean his room while he was gone, but only got as far as changing his sheets.
Grateful I had a good, direct conversation with my older son yesterday, basically about how he needs to contribute more to the family. He took it well, and did some tasks unprompted.
Grateful for new, fancy sheets on my bed.
Incredibly grateful to be sober.

Thanks so much Dee!
Glad you got to talk to Mr A, Alpine
Numblady, you handled that bartender comment really well!
Free, have fun skiing and good luck with your surgery.
Grateful sonny boy passed his midterm second degree black belt test
Grateful to have slept in
Grateful for coffee
Grateful to feel better than yesterday. Starting to feel like I’m coming down with a cold or something but maybe my body is fighting it off early
Grateful to get some R&R today
Grateful for my sobriety and how far I’ve come in recovery

Grateful for today's posts.
Grateful we're having salad tonight in an attempt to cancel out last night's pizza.
Grateful for bright sun. Next week's weather though - not so much. We may be dumped upon.
Grateful SR is here 24/7. A true blessing for so many.
Grateful it isn't a Sunday from the past. Monday morning hungover misery - so unnecessary & destructive.
Have a wonderful day GP!

Thanks Dee for the new thread and all you do!
Free I hope your surgery goes well.
Fearless I hope you feel batter.
PS I hope your husband's biopsy comes back clear. I can relate to your husband, I am the worrier in my family.
NL good for you for getting rid of stuff. We need to do that so badly. We just returned home with a van load of things from my mom's house that we are trying to incorporate into our house. We must get rid of things to make room. We also have a storage room in the basement where we keep putting things we have no use or room for.
Hev glad you had a nice ride. Exercise is my savior.

Grateful for a good night's sleep.
Grateful for a nice evening with my granddaughter and then some Ozark with my husband by the fire.
Grateful for a nice walk with my Sarge this morning.
Grateful for the roasted chicken that we bought the other day. It has provided lots of meals because I made chicken soup and chicken salad with the leftovers.
Grateful for tea. I can't drink much coffee because it makes me anxious and upsets my acid reflux.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful for SR and the GP.

Grateful that everyone who spoke up for an item on BuyNothing actually responded and came to pick it up. I had such a happy feeling packaging stuff up and putting their names on it, then setting it out front and watching things disappear one by one.
Grateful the BuyNothing group is doing a February declutter challenge. There is a theme for stuff to get rid of every day. I’m not going to try and keep up with every single day but I am going to try and use it to inspire me to get to some of the things I’ve been meaning to anyhow, like on junk drawer day or cleaning products day.
Grateful I have space in my life for things like organization.
Grateful to have applied to be a volunteer with my son at a nearby animal shelter. It’s going to be hard to handle emotionally, I’m afraid, but on the positive side omg they have a job for cat cuddling! Could it be any cuter? I love that I would be with two teenage boys who want to be cat cuddlers. So sweet.
Grateful my daughter painted my nails last night — then talked me into buying some ridiculously expensive nail polish off the Internet.
Grateful yesterday was so beautiful and I can keep that in my memory because this next week is going to be total crap in terms of weather. If our power and water can just stay on, I’ll be grateful for that.
Grateful for our special group.

Least, that's great news about Billie - she must be thrilled!
CBS, the battle of the stuff is one that I'm always fighting, too. My parents downsized a couple of years ago, so I ended up with some things there (although my dad is very willing to let things go - sometimes too willing!) My FIL died last year, so every time my husband goes over to see his mom, or we go over there, we get a bunch of items. This is on top of my husband's slight hoarder tendencies and my enthusiasm for home decor, plus the fact that we have a lot of storage space so we can't really say we don't have the room.
Hev, salad definitely cancels out pizza, everyone knows that!
Fearless, that's awesome about the black belt test!

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for telework.
Grateful for a good night's sleep.
Grateful for Target and my new laundry baskets.
Grateful for a quiet morning.
Grateful that my older son went to hang out with his best friend yesterday.
Grateful to be sober.

Grateful for another sober day and night

Hev, I am having salad tonight to cancel out in and out burger
CBS, I’m loving Ozark
Alpine, so glad you stuffed down the AV!
Least, great to hear you are feeling good enough to take care of yourself
Numblady, that cat cuddling sounds so darn cute. I have a friend who is a baby cuddled for the NICU. It is emotional but so rewarding
Aly, how are you?
Grateful to have slept really well
Grateful for coffee
Grateful to meet a nice older gal at the dog park yesterday. I went for a walk with my friend and her dog to the park. The lady I met had a beautiful Great Pyrenees and it turns out she may adopt one of my nieces pure bred puppies. Had a long phone conversation with her later and it turns out we work in similar industry plus we both experienced caring for a parent with Alzheimer’s and shared stories about that
Grateful to have a manageable schedule this week
Grateful to be planning a trip to the snow next weekend. Taking sonny boy and a friend tubing
Grateful for all of you
