Tiredofthepain

I am thankful tonight for the clarity coming back to my mind. In my work I have always enjoyed auditing and analyzing, taking a large amount of information and breaking it down into concise conclusions as to what it meant and make recommendations to stakeholders on improvements to make. In the last year, trying to do that seemed to get harder and harder and sometimes all I could see was a jumble of random information and could not make sense of it. I really thought I may be suffering from early dementia. Today I was spot on like I had not been in a long time and I could see things quickly and clearly. I realized it was the alcohol clouding my mind. Of course I could have just been having a good day and the fog will return tomorrow but I don't think so. Another motivation to stay sober.
