Grateful that my friend invited me to yoga class, and that I was sober and able to attend. Grateful that I was able to get up and run (albeit slowly) this morning, and watch the sunrise. Because I am sober.
Grateful for a brief visit with my friend yesterday. Grateful for her positive outlook as she continues to heal from her serious injuries.

Grateful for another day, for a chance to use my energy in a positive way, for moments of quiet, reflection, and introspection.
Grateful for my canine friend in that through caring for him and observing his loyalty, affection and other endearing behaviors, I am reminded how fortunate we are to have had him come to live with us, to share this part of our lives.
