I'm glad this thread was prompted; I don't do gratitude lists much and really should. But today, I'm especially grateful that my Higher Power seems to put messages in front of me that remind me I'm not the only one feeling the way I feel. I tend to sink into depression (depression, also cunning, baffling and powerful) and forget there's always a reason for it. And even though the depression doesn't miraculously go away once I get to the cause, it's easier to deal with a problem when I know what's causing it. Yes, I'd love to just drink it away, but man! does that compound the problem!

Sorry that picture is so big. I tried to reduce it but couldn't. It's just one of my silly favorites. It reminds me not to take things too seriously.

dmr- Amen to that. Yes I am grateful too. Sobriety is a gift that allows me to have a level playing field when dealing with everyday crap. PJ
