Thank you SR for the encouragement -- 9 years sober today
During the ups and downs of sobriety I have learned that drinking is never an option. I have in the past had some time sober and returned to the hot stove -- only to be burned yet again.
Today marks my date of -- 9 years sober.
Thank you all for being here to encourage me and at times to beckon my conscious.
A nice sober day wished for all,

Why ?
Because, you two were ones who at times beckoned me to think regarding my actions or in actions made. I have learned in sobriety (although at times a little hard headed) that in many ways I'm still growing up. You two have helped me in some of my positive directions made and I wish to thank you for your input and for your good works on this site -- which has helped so many to sober up and in my case to stay sober.
As I try to often say,
have a nice sober day,

I usually don't make a great big deal of my sobriety dates but, I do find it to be kind of cool that they are having a little parade out here in the desert where we are staying today -- I will reflect today on how grateful I'm to be sober.
