Grateful for the Simple Things I Take for Granted
 

Given all of the suffering in the world, the violence, the lack of access to clean water or food, today I feel grateful for the little things I take for granted. I am grateful that I can turn on the tap at any time and have clean water, that I have a hot shower, that I have heat and air conditioning, that I can walk into a grocery store and buy fresh produce at any time. I'm grateful that I live in relative safety, and that I'm free to come and go as I choose.
