Today I am grateful for...
The terrible hangover I finally just got over. I'm thankful for it because it reminded me of how much I want to stop drinking and need to stop drinking. Wasn't able to hold down water, let alone food, all day, so I'm also thankful I was just able to eat a veggie sandwich and couldn't be more thankful to enjoy it alone with my dog, in a quiet apartment, on a Saturday night. I can't wait to begin this journey again. I'm going to go to meetings and follow through with the steps. I'm grateful for second chances and the ability to recognize that I have a chance again to start anew. Love and light to everyone here at SR.

The thing is we often overlooked most of these when we were worshipping alcohol. Our senses were numbed along with our generosity to others. It was a me me me kind of thing and when we come clean the world opens up so many more doors.
