- I'm grateful for not drinking last night even though I was very frustrated with myself and wanted to. Which also leads to...
- I'm grateful I'm not hungover today!
- I'm grateful for this delicious cup of coffee in my hand right now.
- I'm grateful for my pets and how awesome they are at snuggling.
- I'm grateful for a new day, a new beginning, and the new chances that come with it.

Puppies that love to snuggle.
Coffee.... So thankful for coffee... <3
And.... Thankful for a guy who has decided he doesn't want to drink either!

I second the coffee part. Favorite ritual of the day. Morning coffe/SR.

Lol - So very true. And thank you for making this a gratitude and helping me see that my family's only somewhat insane behavior is actually something one can be grateful for.

Grateful for unexpected but very helpful insights.

  • Grateful to read all the amazing success stories on this gratitude thread!
  • Grateful to wish "least" a Happy Birthday today!
  • Grateful like others to crave a coffee or tea in the morning and read a bit on SR.
  • Grateful to be sober and look forward to what the day unfolds.
  • Grateful to find a new passion of trying to cook new healthy recipes from vegetables from the garden. Various flavors of kale baked chips today.
  • Grateful to know if I picked up my world would be doom and gloom.
  • Grateful for recovery plans that work.
  • Grateful for my addiction psychiatrist and my other doctor.
  • Grateful to have a house to call a home filled with love and is getting less toxic as time goes on.
  • Grateful for all of you.

Grateful i found this thread thanks to kgr.

Grateful i talked w a few folks at my AA meeting yesterday.

Grateful i was reminded to forgive myself for being a drunk for so long.

Grateful i was reminded to pray for the willingness to search for and make amends.

Grateful i was reminded to continue to remember i am working w in a bigger cause...it is never always about me.

Grateful to have my health.

Grateful to havemy hands to type this.

Grateful to realize that getting drunk won't help my foul mood.

Grateful to realize that this mood will eventually go away.
